Chronicles 21:9-13
And Jehovah spokeH1696 to GadH1410, David's seerH2374, sayingH559,
Go and speakH1696 to DavidH1732 sayingH559, ThusH3541 saith Jehovah: I offerH6213 thee threeH7969 [thingsH7969]; chooseH977 oneH259 of them, that I may do it unto thee.
And GadH1410 cameH935 to DavidH1732, and saidH559 to him, ThusH3541 saith Jehovah:
Choose thee, either threeH7969 yearsH8141 of famineH7458, or threeH7969 monthsH2320 to be destroyedH7843 before thine adversaries while that the swordH2719 of thine enemiesH341 overtaketh thee, or threeH7969 daysH3117 the swordH2719 of Jehovah and the pestilenceH1698 in the landH776, and the angelH4397 of Jehovah destroyingH7843 through all the bordersH1366 of IsraelH3478. And nowH6258 considerH7200 what wordH1697 I shall bringH7725 again to him that sentH7971 me.
And DavidH1732 saidH559 to GadH1410, I am in a great strait: let me fallH5307, I pray thee, into the handH3027 of Jehovah, for his mercies are veryH3966 great; but let me not fallH5307 into the handH3027 of manH120.
