Chronicles 21:14-17
And Jehovah sent a pestilenceH1698 upon IsraelH3478; and there fellH5307 of IsraelH3478 seventyH7657 thousandH505 menH376.
And 1GodH430 sentH7971 an angelH4397 to JerusalemH3389 to destroyH7843 it; and as he was destroyingH7843, Jehovah beheld, and he repentedH5162 him of the evilH7451, and saidH559 to the angelH4397 that destroyedH7843, It is enoughH7227; withdraw nowH6258 thine handH3027. And the angelH4397 of Jehovah stoodH5975 by the threshing-floor of OrnanH771 the JebusiteH2983.
And DavidH1732 liftedH5375 up his eyesH5869, and sawH7200 the angelH4397 of Jehovah standH5975 between the earthH776 and the heavensH8064, and his swordH2719 drawnH8025 in his handH3027, stretchedH5186 out over JerusalemH3389. And DavidH1732 and the eldersH2205, clothed in sackclothH8242, fellH5307 on their facesH6440.
And DavidH1732 saidH559 to 2GodH430, Is it not I that commanded the peopleH5971 to beH1961 numberedH4487? It is I that have sinnedH2398 and done evilH7489; but these sheepH6629, what have they done? Let thy handH3027, I pray thee, Jehovah my 3GodH430, beH1961 on me and on my father's houseH1004; but not on thy peopleH5971, that they should beH1961 smitten.
