Matthew 6:2-8

2SoG3767 whenG3752 you give to the needyG4160G1654, do not sound a trumpetG4537G3361 beforeG1715 youG4771, asG5618 theG3588 hypocritesG5273 doG4160 inG1722 theG3588 synagoguesG4864 andG2532 onG1722 theG3588 streetsG4505, toG3704 be honoredG1392 byG5259 menG444. TrulyG281 I tellG3004 youG4771, they already haveG568 theirG846 full rewardG3408. 3ButG1161 when youG4771 give to the needyG4160G1654, do not letG3361 yourG4771 leftG710 hand knowG1097 whatG5101 yourG4771 right handG1188 is doingG4160, 4so thatG3704 yourG4771 givingG1654 may beG1510 inG1722 secretG2927. AndG2532 yourG4771 FatherG3962, who seesG991 what is doneG1722G3588 in secretG2927, will rewardG591 youG4771.

5AndG2532 whenG3752 you prayG4336, do not beG1510G3756 likeG5613 theG3588 hypocritesG5273. ForG3754 they loveG5368 to prayG4336 standingG2476 inG1722 theG3588 synagoguesG4864 andG2532 onG1722 theG3588 streetG4113 cornersG1137 to be seenG3704G5316 by menG444. TrulyG281 I tellG3004 youG4771, they already haveG568 theirG846 full rewardG3408. 6ButG1161 whenG3752 you prayG4336, goG1525 intoG1519 yourG4771 inner roomG5009, shutG2808 yourG4771 doorG2374, and prayG4336 toG3588 yourG4771 FatherG3962, whoG3588 is unseenG1722G3588G2927. AndG2532 yourG4771 FatherG3962, whoG3588 seesG991 what is doneG1722G3588 in secretG2927, will rewardG591 youG4771.

7AndG1161 when you prayG4336, do not babble onG945G3361 likeG5618 pagansG1482, forG1063 they thinkG1380 thatG3754 byG1722 theirG846 many wordsG4180 they will be heardG1522. 8Do notG3361 be likeG3666 themG846, forG1063 yourG3588G4771 FatherG3962 knowsG1492 whatG3739 youG2192 needG5532 beforeG4253 youG4771 askG154 HimG846.
