Exodus 8:25-29
Then PharaohH6547H413 summonedH7121 MosesH4872 and AaronH175 and saidH559, “GoH1980, sacrificeH2076 to your GodH430 within this landH776.”
But MosesH4872 repliedH559, “It would notH3808 be rightH3559 to doH6213 thatH3651, becauseH3588 the sacrifices we offerH2076 to the LORDH3068 our GodH430 would be detestableH8441 to the EgyptiansH4714. IfH2005 we offer sacrificesH2076 that areH853 detestableH8441 beforeH5869 the EgyptiansH4714, will they notH3808 stone usH5619? 27We must makeH1980 a three-dayH7969H3117 journeyH1870 into the wildernessH4057 and sacrificeH2076 to the LORDH3068 our GodH430 asH834 He commands usH559H413.”
PharaohH6547 answeredH559, “IH595 will let you goH7971 and sacrificeH2076 to the LORDH3068 your GodH430 in the wildernessH4057, butH7535 you must notH3808 goH1980 very farH7368. Now prayH6279 for meH1157.”
“As soon as IH595 leave youH3318H5973,” MosesH4872H2009 saidH559, “I will prayH6279 toH413 the LORDH3068, so that tomorrowH4279 the swarmsH6157 of flies will departH5493 from PharaohH6547 and his officialsH5650 and his peopleH5971. ButH7535 PharaohH6547 must notH408 act deceitfullyH2048 againH3254 by refusingH1115 to let the peopleH5971 goH7971 and sacrificeH2076 to the LORDH3068.”
