Exodus 34:11-17
11ObserveH8104 whatH834 IH595 command youH6680 this dayH3117H2005. I will drive outH1644 before youH6440 the AmoritesH567, CanaanitesH3669, HittitesH2850, PerizzitesH6522, HivitesH2340, and JebusitesH2983. 12Be carefulH8104 notH6435 to makeH3772 a treatyH12851 with the inhabitantsH3427 of the landH776 youH859 are enteringH935H5921, lestH6435 they becomeH1961 a snareH4170 in your midstH7130. 13RatherH3588, you must tear downH5422 their altarsH4196, smashH7665 their sacred stonesH4676, and chop downH3772 their Asherah polesH842. 14ForH3588 you must notH3808 worshipH7812 any otherH312 godH410, forH3588 the LORDH3068, whose nameH8034 is JealousH7067, is a jealousH7067H1931 GodH410.
15Do notH6435 makeH3772 a covenantH1285 with the inhabitantsH3427 of the landH776, for when they prostitute themselvesH2181 toH310 their godsH430 and sacrificeH2076 toH430 them, they will inviteH7121 you, and you will eatH398 their sacrificesH2077. 16And when you takeH3947 some of their daughtersH1323 as brides for your sonsH1121, their daughtersH1323 will prostitute themselvesH2181 toH310 their godsH430 and cause your sonsH1121 to do the same.
17You shall makeH6213 noH3808 moltenH4541 godsH430 for yourselves.
