Exodus 24:6-18

MosesH4872 tookH3947 halfH2677 of the bloodH1818 and putH7760 it in bowlsH101, and the other halfH2677H1818 he splatteredH2236 onH5921 the altarH4196. 7Then he tookH3947 the BookH5612 of the CovenantH1285 and read itH7121H241 to the peopleH5971, who repliedH559, “AllH3605 thatH834 the LORDH3068 has spokenH1696 we will doH6213, and we will be obedientH8085.”

So MosesH4872 tookH3947 the bloodH1818, splatteredH2236 it onH5921 the peopleH5971, and saidH559, “ThisH2009 is the bloodH1818 of the covenantH1285 thatH834 the LORDH3068 has madeH3772 with youH5973 in accordance withH5921 allH3605 theseH428 wordsH1697.”1

Then MosesH4872 went upH5927 with AaronH175, NadabH5070 and AbihuH30, and seventyH7657 of the eldersH2205 of IsraelH3478, 10and they sawH7200 the GodH430 of IsraelH3478. UnderH8478 His feetH7272 was a workH4639 like a pavementH3843 made of sapphireH5601H6106, as clearH2892 as the sky itselfH8064. 11ButH413 GodH430 did notH3808 layH7971 His handH3027 on the noblesH678 of IsraelH3478; they sawH2372 HimH853, and they ateH398 and drankH8354.

Then the LORDH3068 saidH559 toH413 MosesH4872, “Come upH5927 to MeH413 on the mountainH2022 and stayH1961 hereH8033, so that I may giveH5414 you the tabletsH3871 of stoneH68, with the lawH8451 and commandmentsH4687 I have writtenH3789 for their instructionH3384.”

So MosesH4872 set outH6965 with JoshuaH3091 his attendantH8334 and went upH5927H4872 onH413 the mountainH2022 of GodH430. 14AndH413 he saidH559 to the eldersH2205, “WaitH3427 hereH2088 for us untilH5704 we returnH7725 to youH413. AaronH175 and HurH2354 are hereH2009 with youH5973. WhoeverH4310H1167 has a disputeH1697 can goH5066 to themH413.”

When MosesH4872H413 went upH5927 on the mountainH2022, the cloudH6051 covered itH3680H2022, 16and the gloryH3519 of the LORDH3068 settledH7931 onH5921 MountH2022 SinaiH5514. For sixH8337 daysH3117 the cloudH6051 covered itH3680, and on the seventhH7637 dayH3117 the LORD calledH7121 toH413 MosesH4872 from withinH8432 the cloudH6051. 17And the sightH4758 of the gloryH3519 of the LORDH3068 was like a consumingH398 fireH784 on the mountaintopH7218H2022 in the eyesH5869 of the IsraelitesH1121H3478.

MosesH4872 enteredH935H8432 the cloudH6051 as he went upH5927 onH413 the mountainH2022, and heH4872 remainedH1961 on the mountainH2022 fortyH705 daysH3117 and fortyH705 nightsH3915.
