31You are notוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808to acceptתִקְח֥וּtik.ChuH3947a ransomכֹ֙פֶר֙kho.ferH3724for the lifeלְנֶ֣פֶשׁle.Ne.feshH5315of a murdererרֹצֵ֔חַro.Tze.achH7523whoאֲשֶׁר־ ה֥וּא'a.Sher- hu'H834 H1931deservesרָשָׁ֖עra.Sha'H7563to dieכִּי־ki-H4191 H3588;he must surely be put to deathH4191.

32Norוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808should you acceptתִקְח֣וּtik.ChuH3947a ransomכֹ֔פֶרKho.ferH3724for the person who fleesלָנ֖וּסla.NusH5127toאֶל־'el-H413a cityעִ֣יר'irH5892of refugeמִקְלָט֑וֹmik.la.ToH4733and allow him to returnלָשׁוּב֙la.ShuvH7725and liveלָשֶׁ֣בֶתla.She.vetH3427on his own landבָּאָ֔רֶץba.'A.retzH776beforeעַד־'ad-H5704the deathמ֖וֹתMotH4194of the high priestהַכֹּהֵֽן׃ha.ko.HenH3548.
