21“Separate yourselvesהִבָּ֣דְל֔וּhi.Ba.de.LuH914fromמִתּ֖וֹךְmi.TokhH8432thisהַזֹּ֑אתha.ZotH2063congregationהָעֵדָ֣הha.'e.DahH5712so that I may consumeוַאַכַלֶּ֥הva.'a.kha.LehH3615themאֹתָ֖ם'o.TamH853in an instantכְּרָֽגַע׃ke.Ra.ga'H7281.”

22But Moses and Aaron fellוַיִּפְּל֤וּvai.yi.pe.LuH5307facedownעַל־ פְּנֵיהֶם֙'al- pe.nei.HemH5921 H6440and saidוַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּvai.Yo.me.RuH559, “O Godאֵ֕ל'elH410,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of the spiritsהָרוּחֹ֖תha.ru.ChotH7307of allלְכָל־le.kholH3605fleshבָּשָׂ֑רba.SarH1320,when oneאֶחָד֙'e.ChadH259manהָאִ֤ישׁha.'IshH376sinsיֶחֱטָ֔אye.che.Ta'H2398,will You be angryתִּקְצֹֽף׃ פtik.TzofH7107withוְעַ֥לve.'AlH5921the wholeכָּל־kol-H3605congregationהָעֵדָ֖הha.'e.DahH5712?”

23Then the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068saidוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696toאֶל־'el-H413Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃mo.Sheh le.MorH4872 H559,

24“Tellדַּבֵּ֥ר אֶל־da.Ber 'el-H1696 H413the congregationהָעֵדָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑רha.'e.Dah le.MorH5712 H559to move awayהֵֽעָלוּ֙he.'a.LuH5927fromמִסָּבִ֔יבmi.sa.VivH5439the dwellingsלְמִשְׁכַּן־le.mish.kan-H4908of Korahקֹ֖רַחKo.rachH7141,Dathanדָּתָ֥ןda.TanH1885,and Abiramוַאֲבִירָֽם׃va.'a.vi.RamH48.”

25So Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872got upוַיָּ֣קָםvai.Ya.komH6965and wentוַיֵּ֖לֶךְvai.Ye.lekhH1980toאֶל־'el-H413Dathanדָּתָ֣ןda.TanH1885and Abiramוַאֲבִירָ֑םva.'a.vi.RamH48,and the eldersזִקְנֵ֥יzik.NeiH2205of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478followedוַיֵּלְכ֥וּvai.ye.le.KhuH1980himאַחֲרָ֖יו'a.cha.RavH310.

26And he warnedוַיְדַבֵּ֨ר אֶל־vay.da.Ber 'el-H1696 H413the congregationהָעֵדָ֜ה לֵאמֹ֗רha.'e.Dah le.MorH5712 H559, “Move awayס֣וּרוּSu.ruH5493nowנָ֡אna'H4994fromמֵעַל֩me.'AlH5921the tentsאָהֳלֵ֨י'o.ho.LeiH168of theseהָאֵ֔לֶּהha.'E.lehH428wickedהָֽרְשָׁעִים֙ha.re.sha.'ImH7563menהָאֲנָשִׁ֤יםha.'a.na.ShimH582.Do notוְאַֽל־ve.'al-H408touchתִּגְּע֖וּti.ge.'UH5060anythingבְּכָל־be.kholH3605that belongsאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834to them,orפֶּן־pen-H6435you will be swept awayתִּסָּפ֖וּti.sa.FuH5595because of allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605their sinsחַטֹּאתָֽם׃cha.to.TamH2403.”

27So they moved awayוַיֵּעָל֗וּvai.ye.'a.LuH5927fromמֵעַ֧לme.'AlH5921the dwellingsמִשְׁכַּן־mish.kan-H4908of Korahקֹ֛רֶחKo.rechH7141,Dathanדָּתָ֥ןda.TanH1885,and Abiramוַאֲבִירָ֖םva.'a.vi.RamH48.Meanwhileמִסָּבִ֑יבmi.sa.VivH5439,Dathanוְדָתָ֨ןve.da.TanH1885and Abiramוַאֲבִירָ֜םva.'a.vi.RamH48had come outיָצְא֣וּya.tze.'UH3318and stoodנִצָּבִ֗יםni.tza.VimH5324at the entrancesפֶּ֚תַחPe.tachH6607to their tentsאָֽהֳלֵיהֶ֔ם'o.ho.lei.HemH168with their wivesוּנְשֵׁיהֶ֥םu.ne.shei.HemH802and childrenוּבְנֵיהֶ֖םu.ve.nei.HemH1121and infantsוְטַפָּֽם׃ve.ta.PamH2945.

28Then Mosesמֹשֶׁה֒mo.ShehH4872saidוַיֹּאמֶר֮vai.yo.MerH559, “This is howבְּזֹאת֙be.zoTH2063you will knowתֵּֽדְע֔וּןte.de.'UnH3045thatכִּֽי־ki-H3588the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068has sent meשְׁלָחַ֔נִיshe.la.Cha.niH7971to doלַעֲשׂ֕וֹתla.'a.SotH6213אֵ֥ת'etH853allכָּל־kol-H3605theseהָאֵ֑לֶּהha.'E.lehH428thingsהַֽמַּעֲשִׂ֖יםha.ma.'a.SimH4639,forכִּי־ki-H3588it was notלֹ֖אlo'H3808my own doingמִלִּבִּֽי׃mi.li.BiH3820:

29Ifאִם־'im-H518theseאֵ֔לֶּה'E.lehH428men dieיְמֻת֣וּןye.mu.TunH4191a natural deathכְּמ֤וֹתke.MotH4194כָּל־kol-H3605הָֽאָדָם֙ha.'a.DamH120,or if they sufferיִפָּקֵ֖ד עֲלֵיהֶ֑םyi.pa.Ked 'a.lei.HemH6485 H5921the fateוּפְקֻדַּת֙u.fe.ku.DatH6486of allכָּל־kol-H3605menהָ֣אָדָ֔םha.'a.DamH120,then the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068has notלֹ֥אlo'H3808sent meשְׁלָחָֽנִי׃she.la.Cha.niH7971.

30But ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068brings aboutיִבְרָ֣אyiv.Ra'H1254something unprecedentedבְּרִיאָ֞הbe.ri.'AhH1278,and the earthהָאֲדָמָ֤הha.'a.da.MahH127אֶת־'et-H853opensוּפָצְתָ֨הu.fa.tze.TahH6475its mouthפִּ֙יהָ֙pi.haH6310and swallowsוּבָלְעָ֤הu.val.'AhH1104themאֹתָם֙'o.TamH853andוְאֶת־ve.'EtH853allכָּל־kol-H3605thatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834belongs to themso that they go downוְיָרְד֥וּve.ya.re.DuH3381aliveחַיִּ֖יםchai.YimH2416into Sheolשְׁאֹ֑לָהshe.'O.lahH7585,then you will knowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֕םvi.da'.TemH3045thatכִּ֧יkiH3588theseהָאֵ֖לֶּהha.'E.lehH428אֶת־'et-H853menהָאֲנָשִׁ֥יםha.'a.na.ShimH582have treatedנִֽאֲצ֛וּni.'a.TzuH5006the LORD with contemptיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.”

31וַיְהִי֙vay.HiH1961As soon as Moses had finishedכְּכַלֹּת֔וֹke.kha.lo.ToH3615sayingלְדַבֵּ֕רle.da.BerH1696אֵ֥ת'etH853allכָּל־kol-H3605thisהַדְּבָרִ֖ים הָאֵ֑לֶּהha.de.va.Rim ha.'E.lehH428 H1697,the groundהָאֲדָמָ֖הha.'a.da.MahH127אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834beneath themתַּחְתֵּיהֶֽם׃tach.tei.HemH8478split openוַתִּבָּקַ֥עva.ti.ba.Ka'H1234,

32and the earthהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ha.'A.retzH776אֶת־'et-H853openedוַתִּפְתַּ֤חva.tif.TachH6605its mouthפִּ֔יהָPi.haH6310and swallowedוַתִּבְלַ֥עva.tiv.La'H1104themאֹתָ֖ם'o.TamH853andוְאֶת־ve.'EtH853their householdsבָּתֵּיהֶ֑םba.tei.HemH1004וְאֵ֤תve.'EtH853—allכָּל־kol-H3605Korah’sלְקֹ֔רַחle.Ko.rachH7141וְאֵ֖תve.'EtH853menהָאָדָם֙ha.'a.DamH120אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834and allכָּל־kol-H3605their possessionsהָרֲכֽוּשׁ׃ha.ra.KhushH7399.

33Theyהֵ֣םhemH1992went downוַיֵּ֨רְד֜וּvai.Ye.re.DuH3381aliveחַיִּ֖יםchai.YimH2416into Sheolשְׁאֹ֑לָהshe.'O.lahH7585with allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605they ownedאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834.The earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776closedוַתְּכַ֤סva.te.KhasH3680over themעֲלֵיהֶם֙'a.lei.HemH5921,and they vanishedוַיֹּאבְד֖וּvai.yoe.DuH6fromמִתּ֥וֹךְmi.TokhH8432the assemblyהַקָּהָֽל׃ha.ka.HalH6951.

34At their criesלְקֹלָ֑םle.ko.LamH6963,allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the people of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478whoאֲשֶׁ֛ר'a.SherH834werearound themסְבִיבֹתֵיהֶ֖םse.vi.vo.tei.HemH5439fledנָ֣סוּNa.suH5127כִּ֣יkiH3588,sayingאָֽמְר֔וּ'a.me.RuH559, “The earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776mayפֶּן־pen-H6435swallow us tooתִּבְלָעֵ֖נוּtiv.la.'E.nuH1104!”

35And fireוְאֵ֥שׁve.'EshH784came forthיָצְאָ֖הya.tze.'AhH3318מֵאֵ֣תme.'EtH854from the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068and consumedוַתֹּ֗אכַלva.To.khalH398אֵ֣ת'etH853the 250הַחֲמִשִּׁ֤ים וּמָאתַ֙יִם֙ha.cha.mi.Shim u.ma.Ta.yimH2572 H3967menאִ֔ישׁ'IshH376who were offeringמַקְרִיבֵ֖יmak.ri.VeiH7126the incenseהַקְּטֹֽרֶת׃ פha.ke.To.retH7004.

36Then the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068saidוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696toאֶל־'el-H413Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃mo.Sheh le.MorH4872 H559,

37“Tellאֱמֹ֨ר אֶל־'e.Mor 'el-H559 H413Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֜ר'el.'a.ZarH499sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Aaronאַהֲרֹ֣ן'a.ha.RonH175the priestהַכֹּהֵ֗ןha.ko.HenH3548to removeוְיָרֵ֤םve.ya.RemH7311אֶת־'et-H853the censersהַמַּחְתֹּת֙ha.mach.TotH4289fromמִבֵּ֣יןmi.BeinH996the flamesהַשְּׂרֵפָ֔הha.se.re.FahH8316andוְאֶת־ve.'EtH853to scatterזְרֵה־ze.reh-H2219the coalsהָאֵ֖שׁha.'EshH784far awayהָ֑לְאָהHal.'ahH1973,becauseכִּ֖יkiH3588the censersare holyקָדֵֽשׁוּ׃ka.De.shuH6942.

41The next dayמִֽמָּחֳרָ֔תmi.mo.cho.RatH4283the wholeכָּל־kol-H3605congregationעֲדַ֤ת בְּנֵֽי־'a.Dat be.nei-H5712 H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478grumbledוַיִּלֹּ֜נוּvai.yi.Lo.nuH3885againstעַל־'al-H5921Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥ה וְעַֽל־mo.Sheh ve.'al-H4872 H5921and Aaronאַהֲרֹ֖ן'a.ha.RonH175,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, “Youאַתֶּ֥ם'a.TemH859have killedהֲמִתֶּ֖םha.mi.TemH4191אֶת־'et-H853the LORD’sיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068peopleעַ֥ם'amH5971!”

42Butוַיְהִ֗יvay.HiH1961when the congregationהָֽעֵדָה֙ha.'e.DahH5712gatheredבְּהִקָּהֵ֤לbe.hi.ka.HelH6950against themעַל־'al-H5921,Mosesמֹשֶׁ֣ה וְעַֽל־mo.Sheh ve.'al-H4872 H5921and Aaronאַהֲרֹ֔ן'a.ha.RonH175turnedוַיִּפְנוּ֙vai.yif.NuH6437towardאֶל־'el-H413the Tentאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of Meetingמוֹעֵ֔ד וְהִנֵּ֥הmo.'Ed ve.hi.NehH4150 H2009,and suddenly the cloudהֶעָנָ֑ןhe.'a.NanH6051covered itכִסָּ֖הוּkhi.Sa.huH3680and the gloryכְּב֥וֹדke.VodH3519of the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068appearedוַיֵּרָ֖אvai.ye.Ra'H7200.

43Then Mosesמֹשֶׁה֙mo.ShehH4872and Aaronוְאַהֲרֹ֔ןve.'a.ha.RonH175wentוַיָּבֹ֤אvai.ya.Vo'H935toאֶל־'el-H413the frontפְּנֵ֖יpe.NeiH6440of the Tentאֹ֥הֶל'O.helH168of Meetingמוֹעֵֽד׃ פmo.'EdH4150,

44and the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068saidוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696toאֶל־'el-H413Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃mo.Sheh le.MorH4872 H559,
