40But if they will confessוְהִתְוַדּ֤וּve.hit.va.DuH3034אֶת־'et-H853their iniquityעֲוֹנָם֙'a.vo.NamH5771וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853andעֲוֹ֣ן'a.VonH5771thatof their fathersאֲבֹתָ֔ם'a.vo.TamH1in the unfaithfulnessבְּמַעֲלָ֖םbe.ma.'a.LamH4604thatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834they practicedמָֽעֲלוּ־ma.'a.lu-H4603against Me,by whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834they have also walkedוְאַ֕ף הָֽלְכ֥וּve.'Af ha.le.KhuH637H1980in hostilityבְּקֶֽרִי׃be.Ke.riH7147toward Meעִמִּ֖י'i.MiH5973—
41andאַף־'af-H637Iאֲנִ֗י'a.NiH589actedאֵלֵ֤ךְ'e.LekhH1980with hostilityבְּקֶ֔רִיbe.Ke.riH7147toward themעִמָּם֙'i.MamH5973and broughtוְהֵבֵאתִ֣יve.he.ve.TiH935themאֹתָ֔ם'o.TamH853into the landבְּאֶ֖רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of their enemiesאֹיְבֵיהֶ֑ם'o.ye.vei.HemH341—andאוֹ־ אָ֣ז'ov- 'azH176H227if their uncircumcisedהֶֽעָרֵ֔ל וְאָ֖זhe.'a.Rel ve.'AzH6189H227heartsלְבָבָם֙le.va.VamH3824will be humbledיִכָּנַ֗עyi.ka.Na'H3665and they will make amendsיִרְצ֥וּyir.TzuH7521אֶת־'et-H853for their iniquityעֲוֹנָֽם׃'a.vo.NamH5771,
42then I will rememberוְזָכַרְתִּ֖יve.za.khar.TiH2142אֶת־'et-H853My covenantבְּרִיתִ֣יbe.ri.TiH1285with Jacobיַעֲק֑וֹבya.'a.KovH3290andוְאַף֩ve.'AfH637אֶת־'et-H853אֶזְכֹּ֖ר'ez.KorH2142My covenantבְּרִיתִ֨יbe.ri.TiH1285with Isaacיִצְחָ֜ק וְאַ֨ףyitz.Chak ve.'AfH3327H637אֶת־'et-H853and My covenantבְּרִיתִ֧יbe.ri.TiH1285with Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֛ם'av.ra.HamH85,and I will rememberאֶזְכֹּֽר׃'ez.KorH2142the landוְהָאָ֥רֶץve.ha.'A.retzH776.
43For the landוְהָאָרֶץ֩ve.ha.'a.RetzH776will be abandonedתֵּעָזֵ֨בte.'a.ZevH5800by them,and it will enjoyוְתִ֣רֶץve.Ti.retzH7521אֶת־'et-H853its Sabbathsשַׁבְּתֹתֶ֗יהָsha.be.to.Tei.haH7676by lying desolateבָּהְשַׁמָּה֙bah.sha.MahH8074without them.And theyוְהֵ֖םve.HemH1992will pay the penaltyיִרְצ֣וּyir.TzuH7521אֶת־'et-H853for their iniquityעֲוֹנָ֑ם'a.vo.NamH5771,becauseH3282they rejectedמָאָ֔סוּma.'A.suH3988וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853My ordinancesבְּמִשְׁפָּטַ֣יbe.mish.pa.TaiH4941and abhorredגָּעֲלָ֥ה נַפְשָֽׁם׃ga.'a.Lah naf.ShamH1602H5315My statutesחֻקֹּתַ֖יchu.ko.TaiH2708.
44Yetוְאַף־ve.'af-H637in spite ofגַּם־gam-H1571thisזֹ֠אתzotH2063,when they areבִּֽהְיוֹתָ֞םbih.yo.TamH1961in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of their enemiesאֹֽיְבֵיהֶ֗ם'o.ye.vei.HemH341,I will notלֹֽא־lo'-H3808rejectמְאַסְתִּ֤יםme.'as.TimH3988orוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808despise themגְעַלְתִּים֙ge.'al.TimH1602so as to destroy themלְכַלֹּתָ֔םle.kha.lo.TamH3615and breakלְהָפֵ֥רle.ha.FerH6565My covenantבְּרִיתִ֖יbe.ri.TiH1285with themאִתָּ֑ם'i.TamH854;forכִּ֛יkiH3588Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.HemH430.
