39Ifוְכִ֤יve.KhiH3588anמִן־min-H4480animalהַבְּהֵמָ֔הha.be.he.MahH929thatאֲשֶׁר־ הִ֥יא'a.Sher- hi'H834 H1931youmay eatלְאָכְלָ֑הle.'okh.LahH402diesיָמוּת֙ya.MutH4191,anyone who touchesהַנֹּגֵ֥עַha.no.Ge.a'H5060the carcassבְּנִבְלָתָ֖הּbe.niv.la.TahH5038will be uncleanיִטְמָ֥אyit.Ma'H2930untilעַד־'ad-H5704eveningהָעָֽרֶב׃ha.'A.revH6153.

40Whoever eatsוְהָֽאֹכֵל֙ve.ha.'o.KhelH398from the carcassמִנִּבְלָתָ֔הּmi.niv.la.TahH5038must washיְכַבֵּ֥סye.kha.BesH3526his clothesבְּגָדָ֖יוbe.ga.DavH899and will be uncleanוְטָמֵ֣אve.ta.Me'H2930untilעַד־'ad-H5704eveningהָעָ֑רֶבha.'A.revH6153,and anyone who picks upוְהַנֹּשֵׂא֙ve.ha.no.Se'H5375אֶת־'et-H853the carcassנִבְלָתָ֔הּniv.la.TahH5038must washיְכַבֵּ֥סye.kha.BesH3526his clothesבְּגָדָ֖יוbe.ga.DavH899and will be uncleanוְטָמֵ֥אve.ta.Me'H2930untilעַד־'ad-H5704eveningהָעָֽרֶב׃ha.'A.revH6153.

41Everyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605creatureהַשֶּׁ֖רֶץha.She.retzH8318that movesהַשֹּׁרֵ֣ץha.sho.RetzH8317alongעַל־'al-H5921the groundהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776is detestableשֶׁ֥קֶץShe.ketzH8263;itה֖וּאhu'H1931must notלֹ֥אlo'H3808be eatenיֵאָכֵֽל׃ye.'a.KhelH398.
