2He didוַיַּ֨עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213rightהַיָּשָׁ֜רhai.ya.SharH3477in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֣יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,according to allכְּכֹ֤לke.KholH3605that his fatherאָבִ֔יו'a.VivH1Uzziahעֻזִּיָּ֣הוּ'u.zi.Ya.huH5818had doneעָשָׂה֙'a.SahH6213;howeverH7534he did not enterבָ֖אva'H935the templeהֵיכַ֣לhei.KhalH1964of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068.But the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971continuedוְע֥וֹדve.'odH5750actingH7843corruptlyמַשְׁחִיתִֽים׃mash.chi.TimH7843.
4Moreover, he builtבָּנָ֖הba.NahH1129citiesוְעָרִ֥יםve.'a.RimH5892in the hillבְּהַר־be.har-H2022countryH2022of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063,and he builtבָּנָ֔הba.NahH1129fortressesבִּֽירָנִיּ֖וֹתbi.ra.ni.YotH1003and towersוּמִגְדָּלִֽים׃u.mig.da.LimH4026on the woodedוּבֶחֳרָשִׁ֣יםu.ve.cho.ra.ShimH2793hills.
5He foughtנִלְחַ֞םnil.ChamH3898also with the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of the Ammonitesבְּנֵי־ עַמּוֹן֮be.nei- 'a.mOnH1121H5983and prevailedוַיֶּחֱזַ֣קvai.ye.che.ZakH2388overעֲלֵיהֶם֒'a.lei.HemH5921them so that the Ammonitesבְנֵֽי־ עַמּ֜וֹןve.nei- a.MonH1121H5983gaveוַיִּתְּנוּ־vai.yi.te.nu-H5414him during that yearבַּשָּׁנָ֣הba.sha.NahH8141one hundredמֵאָה֙me.'AhH3967talentsכִּכַּר־ki.kar-H3603of silverכֶּ֔סֶףKe.sefH3701,tenוַעֲשֶׂ֨רֶתva.'a.Se.retH6235thousandאֲלָפִ֤ים'a.la.FimH505korsכֹּרִים֙ko.RimH3734of wheatחִטִּ֔יםchi.TimH2406and tenעֲשֶׂ֣רֶת'a.Se.retH6235thousandאֲלָפִ֑ים'a.la.FimH505of barleyוּשְׂעוֹרִ֖יםu.se.'o.RimH8184.The Ammonitesבְּנֵ֣י עַמּ֔וֹן סbe.Nei a.MonH1121H5983also paidהֵשִׁ֤יבוּhe.Shi.vuH7725him thisH2088amountin the secondהַשֵּׁנִ֖יתha.she.NitH8145and in the thirdוְהַשְּׁלִשִֽׁית׃ve.ha.she.li.ShitH7992yearוּבַשָּׁנָ֥הu.va.sha.NahH8141.
