Romans 11:17-22
17But if some of the branchesG2798 wereG1510 broken off, and thou, beingG1510 a wildG65 oliveG1636, wast graftedG1461 in among them, and didst becomeG1096 partaker with them of the rootG4491 of the fatness of the oliveG1636 treeG1636; 18glory not over the branchesG2798: but if thou gloriest, it is not thou that bearest the rootG4491, but the rootG4491 thee. 19Thou wilt sayG3004 thenG3767, BranchesG2798 were broken off, that I might be graftedG1461 in. 20WellG2573; by their unbeliefG570 they were broken off, and thou standest by thy faithG4102. Be not highminded, but fearG5399: 21for if GodG2316 spared not the natural branchesG2798, neither will he spareG5339 thee. 22BeholdG2396 then the goodness and severityG663 of GodG2316: toward them that fellG4098, severityG663; but toward thee, God’s goodness, if thou continueG1961 in his goodness: otherwiseG1893 thou alsoG2532 shalt be cutG1581 off.
