Numbers 32:8-13

8ThusH3541 did your fathersH1, when I sentH7971 them from Kadesh-barneaH6947 to seeH7200 the landH776. 9For whenH834 they wentH935 up unto the valley of EshcolH812, and sawH7200 the landH776, they discouraged the heartH3820 of the children of IsraelH3478, that they should not goH935 into the landH776 which Jehovah had givenH5414 them. 10And Jehovah’s angerH639 was kindled in that dayH3117, and he sware, sayingH559, 11Surely none of the menH376 that cameH5927 up out of EgyptH4714, from twentyH6242 yearsH8141 old and upwardH4605, shall seeH7200 the landH127 which I sware unto AbrahamH85, unto IsaacH3327, and unto JacobH3290; because they have not wholly followed me: 12save CalebH3612 the sonH1121 of JephunnehH3312 the KenizziteH7074, and JoshuaH3091 the sonH1121 of NunH5126; because they have wholly followed Jehovah. 13And Jehovah’s angerH639 was kindled against IsraelH3478, and he madeH6213 them wanderH5128 to and fro in the wildernessH4057 fortyH705 yearsH8141, until all the generationH1755, that had done evilH7451 in the sight of Jehovah, was consumed.
