Matthew 12:2-7
But the PhariseesG5330, when they sawG3708 it, saidG3004 unto him, BeholdG2400, thy disciplesG3101 do that which it is not lawfulG1832 to do upon the sabbathG4521.
But he saidG3004 unto them, Have ye not readG314 what DavidG1138 did, whenG3753 he was hungryG3983, and they that were with him;
howG4459 he enteredG1525 into the houseG3624 of GodG2316, and ateG2068 the showbread, which it wasG1510 not lawfulG1832 for him to eatG2068, neither for them that wereG1510 with him, but onlyG3441 for the priestsG2409?
Or have ye not readG314 in the lawG3551, that on the sabbathG4521 day the priestsG2409 in the temple profane the sabbathG4521, and areG1510 guiltless?
But I sayG3004 unto you, that oneG3588 greaterG3173 than the temple isG1510 hereG5602.
But if ye had knownG1097 what this meaneth, I desireG2309 mercyG1656, and not sacrificeG2378, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
