Luke 7:2-9
2And a certainG5100 centurion’sG1543 servantG1401, who wasG1510 dear unto him, wasG1510 sickG2560 and at the point of death. 3And when he heardG191 concerningG4012 JesusG2424, he sentG649 unto him eldersG4245 of the JewsG2453, askingG2065 him that he would comeG2064 and saveG1295 his servantG1401. 4And they, when they cameG3854 to JesusG2424, besought him earnestlyG4709, sayingG3004, He isG1510 worthyG514 that thou shouldest do this for him; 5for he loveth our nationG1484, and himself builtG3618 us our synagogueG4864. 6And JesusG2424 wentG4198 with them. And when he wasG1510 nowG1161 not farG3112 from the houseG3614, the centurionG1543 sentG3992 friendsG5384 to him, sayingG3004 unto him, LordG2962, troubleG4660 not thyself; for I amG1510 not worthyG2425 that thou shouldest comeG1525 under my roofG4721: 7wherefore neither thought I myself worthyG515 to comeG2064 unto thee: but sayG3004 the wordG3056, and my servantG3816 shall be healedG2390. 8For I alsoG2532 amG1510 a manG444 set under authorityG1849, having under myself soldiersG4757: and I sayG3004 to this oneG3778, GoG4198, and he goeth; and to another, ComeG2064, and he cometh; and to my servantG1401, Do this, and he doeth it. 9And when JesusG2424 heardG191 these thingsG3778, he marvelled at him, and turnedG4762 and saidG3004 unto the multitudeG3793 that followedG190 him, I sayG3004 unto you, I have not foundG2147 so greatG5118 faithG4102, no, not in IsraelG2474.
