John 11:11-17
11These thingsG3778 spake he: and after this he saith unto them, Our friendG5384 LazarusG2976 is fallen asleepG2837; but I goG4198, that I may awake him out of sleepG2837. 12The disciplesG3101 thereforeG3767 saidG3004 unto him, LordG2962, if he is fallen asleepG2837, he will recover. 13NowG1161 JesusG2424 had spoken of his deathG2288: but they thoughtG1380 that he spake of taking rest in sleepG5258. 14ThenG5119 JesusG2424 thereforeG3767 saidG3004 unto them plainlyG3954, LazarusG2976 is deadG599. 15And I amG1510 gladG5463 for your sakesG1223 that I wasG1510 not there, to the intent ye may believeG4100; nevertheless let us goG71 unto him. 16ThomasG2381 thereforeG3767, who is called DidymusG1324, saidG3004 unto his fellow-disciples, Let us alsoG2532 goG71, that we may dieG599 with him.
17So when JesusG2424 cameG2064, he foundG2147 that he had been in the tombG3419 fourG5064 daysG2250 alreadyG2235.
