Exodus 15
American Standard Version
1ThenH227 sangH7891 MosesH4872 and the children of IsraelH3478 this songH7892 unto Jehovah, and spake, sayingH559,
19For the horsesH5483 of PharaohH6547 wentH1980 in with his chariotsH7393 and with his horsemenH6571 into the seaH3220, and Jehovah broughtH935 backH7725 the watersH4325 of the seaH3220 upon them; but the children of IsraelH3478 walkedH1980 on dryH3004 landH3004 in the midstH8432 of the seaH3220. 20And MiriamH4813 the prophetessH5031, the sisterH269 of AaronH175, tookH3947 a timbrel in her handH3027; and all the womenH802 wentH3318 out after her with timbrels and with dances. 21And MiriamH4813 answeredH6030 them,
22And MosesH4872 led IsraelH3478 onward from the Red SeaH3220, and they wentH3318 out into the wildernessH4057 of ShurH7793; and they wentH3318 threeH7969 daysH3117 in the wildernessH4057, and foundH4672 no waterH4325. 23And when they cameH935 to MarahH4785, they could not drinkH8354 of the watersH4325 of MarahH4785, for they were bitterH4751: thereforeH3651 the nameH8034 of it was calledH7121 MarahH4785. 24And the peopleH5971 murmured against MosesH4872, sayingH559, What shall we drinkH8354? 25And he criedH6817 unto Jehovah; and Jehovah showed him a treeH6086, and he castH7993 it into the watersH4325, and the watersH4325 were madeH7760 sweetH4985. There he madeH7760 for them a statuteH2706 and an ordinanceH4941, and there he proved them; 26and he saidH559, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voiceH6963 of Jehovah thy GodH430, and wilt do that which is rightH3477 in his eyesH5869, and wilt giveH238 earH238 to his commandmentsH4687, and keepH8104 all his statutesH2706, I will putH7760 none of the diseases upon thee, which I have putH7760 upon the Egyptians: for I am Jehovah that healeth thee.
27And they cameH935 to ElimH362, where were twelve springs of waterH4325, and threescore and ten palm-trees: and they encampedH2583 there by the watersH4325.
