Exodus 11
American Standard Version
1And Jehovah saidH559 unto MosesH4872, YetH5750 oneH259 plagueH5061 more will I bringH935 upon PharaohH6547, and upon EgyptH4714; afterwards he will let you goH935 hence: when he shall let you goH935, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether. 2SpeakH1696 now in the earsH241 of the peopleH5971, and let them askH7592 every manH376 of his neighborH7453, and every womanH802 of her neighborH7453, jewels of silverH3701, and jewels of goldH2091. 3And Jehovah gaveH5414 the peopleH5971 favorH2580 in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the manH376 MosesH4872 was veryH3966 greatH1419 in the landH776 of EgyptH4714, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servantsH5650, and in the sight of the peopleH5971.
4And MosesH4872 saidH559, ThusH3541 saith Jehovah, About midnight will I goH3318 out into the midstH8432 of EgyptH4714: 5and all the first-born in the landH776 of EgyptH4714 shall dieH4191, from the first-born of PharaohH6547 that sitteth upon his throneH3678, even unto the first-born of the maid-servant that is behind the mill; and all the first-born of cattleH929. 6And there shall beH1961 a greatH1419 cryH6818 throughout all the landH776 of EgyptH4714, such as there hath not beenH1961, nor shall beH1961 any more. 7But against any of the children of IsraelH3478 shall not a dogH3611 move his tongueH3956, against manH376 or beast: that ye may knowH3045 how that Jehovah doth makeH3045 a distinction between the Egyptians and IsraelH3478. 8And all these thy servantsH5650 shall comeH3318 down unto me, and bowH7812 downH3381 themselves unto me, sayingH559, Get thee out, and all the peopleH5971 that follow thee: and after that I will goH3318 out. And he wentH3318 out from PharaohH6547 in hot angerH639.
9And Jehovah saidH559 unto MosesH4872, PharaohH6547 will not hearken unto you; that my wondersH4159 may be multipliedH7235 in the landH776 of EgyptH4714. 10And MosesH4872 and AaronH175 did all these wondersH4159 before PharaohH6547: and Jehovah hardened Pharaoh’s heartH3820, and he did not let the children of IsraelH3478 goH7971 out of his landH776.
