1The burdenמַשָּׂ֖אma.Sa'H4853of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714.Behold, Yhwhיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068ridethרֹכֵ֨בro.KhevH7392upon a swiftקַל֙kalH7031cloudעָ֥ב'avH5645,and shall comeוּבָ֣אu.Va'H935into Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714:and the idolsאֱלִילֵ֤י'e.li.LeiH457of Egyptמִצְרַ֙יִם֙mitz.Ra.yimH4714shall be movedוְנָע֞וּve.na.'UH5128at his presenceמִפָּנָ֔יוmi.pa.NavH6440,and the heartוּלְבַ֥בu.le.VavH3824of Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714shall meltיִמַּ֥סyi.MasH4549in the midstבְּקִרְבּֽוֹ׃be.kir.BoH7130of it.

2And I will setוְסִכְסַכְתִּ֤יve.sikh.sakh.TiH5526the Egyptiansמִצְרַ֙יִם֙mitz.Ra.yimH4714against the Egyptiansבְּמִצְרַ֔יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714:and they shall fightוְנִלְחֲמ֥וּve.nil.cha.MuH3898every oneאִישׁ־'ish-H376against his brotherבְּאָחִ֖יוbe.'a.ChivH251,and every oneוְאִ֣ישׁve.'IshH376against his neighbourבְּרֵעֵ֑הוּbe.re.'E.huH7453;cityעִ֣יר'irH5892against cityבְּעִ֔ירbe.'IrH5892, andkingdomמַמְלָכָ֖הmam.la.KhahH4467against kingdomבְּמַמְלָכָֽה׃be.mam.la.KhahH4467.

3And the spiritרֽוּחַ־Ru.ach-H7307of Egyptמִצְרַ֙יִם֙mitz.Ra.yimH4714shall failוְנָבְקָ֤הve.na.ve.KahH1238in the midstבְּקִרְבּ֔וֹbe.kir.BoH7130thereof; and I will destroyאֲבַלֵּ֑עַ'a.va.Le.a'H1104the counselוַעֲצָת֖וֹva.'a.tza.ToH6098thereof: and they shall seekוְדָרְשׁ֤וּve.da.re.ShuH1875to the idolsהָֽאֱלִילִים֙ha.'e.li.LimH457,and to the charmersהָ֣אִטִּ֔יםha.'i.TimH328,and to them that have familiar spiritsהָאֹב֖וֹתha.'o.VotH178,and to the wizardsהַיִּדְּעֹנִֽים׃hai.yi.de.'o.NimH3049.

4Andאֶת־'et-H853the Egyptiansמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714will I give overוְסִכַּרְתִּי֙ve.si.kar.TiH5534into the handבְּיַ֖דbe.YadH3027of a cruelקָשֶׁ֑הka.ShehH7186lordאֲדֹנִ֣ים'a.do.NimH113;and a fierceעַז֙'azH5794kingוּמֶ֤לֶךְu.Me.lekhH4428shall ruleיִמְשָׁל־yim.shol-H4910over them, saithנְאֻ֥םne.'UmH5002the Lordהָאָד֖וֹןha.'a.DonH113,Yhwhיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Armiesצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

5And the watersמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325shall failוְנִשְּׁתוּ־ve.ni.she.tu-H5405from the seaמֵֽהַיָּ֑םme.hai.YamH3220,and the riverוְנָהָ֖רve.na.HarH5104shall be wastedיֶחֱרַ֥בye.che.RavH2717and dried upוְיָבֵֽשׁ׃ve.ya.VeshH3001.

6And they shall turnH2186the riversנְהָר֔וֹתne.ha.RotH5104far awayH2186; andthe brooksיְאֹרֵ֣יye.'o.ReiH2975of defenceמָצ֑וֹרma.TzorH4693shall be emptiedדָּלֲל֥וּda.la.LuH1809and dried upוְחָרְב֖וּve.cha.re.VuH2717:the reedsקָנֶ֥הka.NehH7070and flagsוָס֖וּףva.SufH5488shall witherקָמֵֽלוּ׃ka.Me.luH7060.

7The paper reedsעָר֥וֹתa.RotH6169by the brooksיְא֖וֹרye.'orH2975,by the mouthפִּ֣יpiH6310of the brooksיְא֑וֹרye.'orH2975,and every thing sownמִזְרַ֣עmiz.Ra'H4218by the brooksיְא֔וֹרye.'orH2975,shall witherיִיבַ֥שׁyi.VashH3001,be driven awayנִדַּ֖ףni.DafH5086, and be no more.

8The fishersהַדַּיָּגִ֔יםha.dai.ya.GimH1771also shall mournוְאָנוּ֙ve.'a.NuH578,and all they that castמַשְׁלִיכֵ֥יmash.li.KheiH7993angleחַכָּ֑הcha.KahH2443into the brooksבַיְא֖וֹרvay.'orH2975shall lamentוְאָ֣בְל֔וּve.'A.ve.LuH56,and they that spreadוּפֹרְשֵׂ֥יu.fo.re.SeiH6566netsמִכְמֹ֛רֶתmikh.Mo.retH4365uponפְּנֵי־pe.nei-H6440the watersמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325shall languishאֻמְלָֽלוּ׃'um.La.luH535.

9Moreover they that workעֹבְדֵ֥י'oe.DeiH5647in fineשְׂרִיק֑וֹתse.ri.KotH8305flaxפִשְׁתִּ֖יםfish.TimH6593,and they that weaveוְאֹרְגִ֖יםve.'o.re.GimH707networksחוֹרָֽי׃cho.RaiH2355,shall be confoundedוּבֹ֛שׁוּu.Vo.shuH954.

10And they shall be brokenמְדֻכָּאִ֑יםme.du.ka.'ImH1792in the purposesשָׁתֹתֶ֖יהָsha.to.Tei.haH8356thereof, all that makeעֹ֥שֵׂי'O.seiH6213sluicesשֶׂ֖כֶרSe.kherH7938andpondsאַגְמֵי־'ag.mei-H99for fishנָֽפֶשׁ׃Na.feshH5315.

11Surely the princesשָׂ֣רֵיSa.reiH8269of Zoanצֹ֔עַןTzo.'anH6814arefoolsאֱוִלִים֙'e.vi.LimH191,the counselH6098of the wiseחַכְמֵי֙chakh.MeiH2450counsellorsH3289of Pharaohפַרְעֹ֔הfar.'OhH6547is become brutishנִבְעָרָ֑הniv.'a.RahH1197:how sayתֹּאמְר֣וּto.me.RuH559ye unto Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֔הpar.'OhH6547, I amthe sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of the wiseחֲכָמִ֥יםcha.kha.MimH2450,the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of ancientקֶֽדֶם׃Ke.demH6924kingsמַלְכֵי־mal.khei-H4428?

12Whereאַיָּם֙'ai.YamH335arethey? whereאֵפ֣וֹא'e.Fo'H645arethy wiseחֲכָמֶ֔יךָcha.kha.Mei.khaH2450men?and let them tellוְיַגִּ֥ידוּve.ya.Gi.duH5046thee now, and let them knowוְיֵ֣דְע֔וּve.Ye.de.'UH3045what Yhwhיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Armiesצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635hath purposedיָּעַ֛ץya.'AtzH3289upon Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

13The princesשָׂ֣רֵיSa.reiH8269of Zoanצֹ֔עַןTzo.'anH6814are become foolsנֽוֹאֲלוּ֙no.'a.LuH2973,the princesשָׂ֣רֵיSa.reiH8269of Nophנֹ֑ףNofH5297are deceivedנִשְּׁא֖וּni.she.'UH5377;they have also seducedהִתְע֥וּhit.'UH8582Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714, even they that arethe stayפִּנַּ֥תpi.NatH6438of the tribesשְׁבָטֶֽיהָ׃she.va.Tei.haH7626thereof.

14Yhwhיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068hath mingledמָסַ֥ךְma.SakhH4537a perverseעִוְעִ֑ים'iv.'ImH5773spiritר֣וּחַRu.achH7307in the midstבְּקִרְבָּ֖הּbe.kir.BahH7130thereof: and they have caused Egyptמִצְרַ֙יִם֙mitz.Ra.yimH4714to errוְהִתְע֤וּve.hit.'UH8582in every workמַעֲשֵׂ֔הוּma.'a.Se.huH4639thereof, as a drunkenשִׁכּ֖וֹרshi.KorH7910manstaggerethכְּהִתָּע֥וֹתke.hi.ta.'otH8582in his vomitבְּקִיאֽוֹ׃be.ki.'OH6892.

15Neither shall there be anyworkמַֽעֲשֶׂ֑הma.'a.SehH4639for Egyptלְמִצְרַ֖יִםle.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,which the headרֹ֥אשׁroshH7218or tailוְזָנָ֖בve.za.NavH2180,branchכִּפָּ֥הki.PahH3712or rushוְאַגְמֽוֹן׃ סve.'ag.MonH100,may doיַעֲשֶׂ֛הya.'a.SehH6213.

16In that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117shall Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714be like unto womenכַּנָּשִׁ֑יםka.na.ShimH802:and it shall be afraidוְחָרַ֣ד׀ve.cha.RadH2729and fearוּפָחַ֗דu.fa.ChadH6342becauseמִפְּנֵי֙mi.pe.NeiH6440of the shakingתְּנוּפַת֙te.nu.FatH8573of the handיַד־yad-H3027of Yhwhיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Armiesצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,which he shakethמֵנִ֥יףme.NifH5130over it.

17And the landאַדְמַ֨ת'ad.MatH127of Judahיְהוּדָ֤הye.hu.DahH3063shall be a terrorלְחָגָּ֔אle.cha.Ga'H2283unto Egyptלְמִצְרַ֙יִם֙le.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,every one that maketh mentionיַזְכִּ֥ירyaz.KirH2142thereof shall be afraidיִפְחָ֑דyif.ChadH6342in himself, becauseמִפְּנֵ֗יmi.pe.NeiH6440of the counselעֲצַת֙'a.TzatH6098of Yhwhיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Armiesצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,which he hath determinedיוֹעֵ֥ץyo.'EtzH3289against it.

18In that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117shall fiveחָמֵ֨שׁcha.MeshH2568citiesעָרִ֜ים'a.RimH5892in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֗יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714speakמְדַבְּרוֹת֙me.da.be.rOtH1696the languageשְׂפַ֣תse.FatH8193of Canaanכְּנַ֔עַןke.Na.'anH3667,and swearוְנִשְׁבָּע֖וֹתve.nish.ba.'otH7650to Yhwhלַיהוָ֣הla.Yah.wehH3068of Armiesצְבָא֑וֹתtze.va.'otH6635;oneלְאֶחָֽת׃ סle.'e.ChatH259shall be calledיֵאָמֵ֖רye.'a.MerH559,The cityעִ֣יר'irH5892of destructionהַהֶ֔רֶסha.He.resH2041.

19In that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117shall there be an altarמִזְבֵּ֙חַ֙miz.Be.achH4196to Yhwhלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068in the midstבְּת֖וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,and a pillarוּמַצֵּבָ֥הu.ma.tze.VahH4676atאֵֽצֶל־'e.tzel-H681the borderגְּבוּלָ֖הּge.vu.LahH1366thereof to Yhwhלַֽיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

20And it shall be for a signלְא֥וֹתle.'otH226and for a witnessוּלְעֵ֛דu.le.'EdH5707unto Yhwhלַֽיהוָ֥הla.Yah.wehH3068of Armiesצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714:for they shall cryיִצְעֲק֤וּyitz.'a.KuH6817unto Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068becauseמִפְּנֵ֣יmi.pe.NeiH6440of the oppressorsלֹֽחֲצִ֔יםlo.cha.TzimH3905,and he shall sendוְיִשְׁלַ֥חve.yish.LachH7971them a saviourמוֹשִׁ֥יעַmo.Shi.a'H3467,and a great oneH7227,and he shall deliverוְהִצִּילָֽם׃ve.hi.tzi.LamH5337them.

21And Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068shall be knownוְנוֹדַ֤עve.no.Da'H3045to Egyptלְמִצְרַ֔יִםle.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,and the Egyptiansמִצְרַ֛יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714shall knowוְיָדְע֥וּve.ya.de.'UH3045Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068in that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117,and shall doוְעָֽבְדוּ֙ve.'a.ve.DuH5647sacrificeזֶ֣בַחZe.vachH2077and oblationוּמִנְחָ֔הu.min.ChahH4503;yea, they shall vowוְנָדְרוּ־ve.na.de.ru-H5087a vowנֵ֥דֶרNe.derH5088unto Yhwhלַֽיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068,and performוְשִׁלֵּֽמוּ׃ve.shi.Le.muH7999it.

22And Yhwhיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068shall smiteוְנָגַ֧ףve.na.GafH5062Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714:he shall smiteנָגֹ֣ףna.GofH5062and healוְרָפ֑וֹאve.ra.Fo'H7495it:and they shall returnוְשָׁ֙בוּ֙ve.Sha.vuH7725evento Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and he shall be intreatedוְנֶעְתַּ֥רve.ne'.TarH6279of them, and shall healוּרְפָאָֽם׃u.re.fa.'AmH7495them.

23In that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117shall there be a highwayמְסִלָּ֤הme.si.LahH4546out of Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֙יִם֙mi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714to Assyriaאַשּׁ֔וּרָה'a.Shu.rahH804,and the Assyrianאַשּׁ֥וּר'a.ShurH804shall comeוּבָֽא־u.va'-H935into Egyptבְּמִצְרַ֖יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,and the Egyptianוּמִצְרַ֣יִםu.mitz.Ra.yimH4714into Assyriaבְּאַשּׁ֑וּרbe.'a.ShurH804,and the Egyptiansמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714shall serveוְעָבְד֥וּve.'a.ve.DuH5647with the Assyriansאַשּֽׁוּר׃ ס'a.ShurH804.

24In that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117shall Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478be the thirdשְׁלִ֣ישִׁיָּ֔הshe.Li.shi.YahH7992with Egyptלְמִצְרַ֖יִםle.mitz.Ra.yimH4714and with Assyriaוּלְאַשּׁ֑וּרu.le.'a.ShurH804, evena blessingבְּרָכָ֖הbe.ra.KhahH1293in the midstבְּקֶ֥רֶבbe.Ke.revH7130of the landהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776:
