3Thusכֹּ֤הkohH3541saith theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136:Woeה֖וֹיHoH1945unto thefoolishהַנְּבָלִ֑יםha.ne.va.LimH5036prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֣יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030, thatfollowאַחַ֥ר'a.CharH310their ownspiritרוּחָ֖םru.ChamH7307, and haveseenרָאֽוּ׃ra.'UH7200nothingוּלְבִלְתִּ֥יu.le.vil.TiH1115!

4OIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478, thyprophetsנְבִיאֶ֥יךָne.vi.'Ei.khaH5030have been likefoxesכְּשֻׁעָלִ֖יםke.shu.'a.LimH7776in thewasteH2723placesH2723.

5Ye havenotH3808goneH5927upH5927intoעַל־'al-H5921the gaps,neitherH3808madeH5927upH5927thefenceגָדֵ֖רga.DerH1447for thehouseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478, tostandלַעֲמֹ֥דla.'a.ModH5975in thebattleבַּמִּלְחָמָ֖הba.mil.cha.MahH4421in thedayבְּי֥וֹםbe.YomH3117of theLORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

6They haveseenחָ֤זוּCha.zuH2372vanityשָׁוְא֙shaV'H7723andlyingכָּזָ֔בka.ZavH3577divinationוְקֶ֣סֶםve.Ke.semH7081, thatsayהָאֹֽמְרִים֙ha.'o.me.RimH559, TheLORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saith; and theLORDוַֽיהוָ֖הva.Yah.wehH3068hathnotלֹ֣אlo'H3808sentשְׁלָחָ֑םshe.la.ChamH7971them: and they have mademenH559tohopeוְיִֽחֲל֖וּve.yi.cha.LuH3176that thewordדָּבָֽר׃da.VarH1697should beconfirmedלְקַיֵּ֥םle.kai.YemH6965.

8Thereforethusכֹּ֤הkohH3541saith theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136:BecauseH3282ye havespokenדַּבֶּרְכֶ֣םda.ber.KhemH1696vanityשָׁ֔וְאShav'H7723, andseenוַחֲזִיתֶ֖םva.cha.zi.TemH2372liesכָּזָ֑בka.ZavH3577, therefore,beholdהִנְנִ֣יhi.NiH2005, I amagainstאֲלֵיכֶ֔ם'a.lei.KhemH413youH3282, saith theLordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136.

9And minehandיָדִ֗יya.DiH3027shall beagainstאֶֽל־'el-H413theprophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֞יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030thatseeH3045vanityשָׁוְא֮shaV'H7723, and thatdivineוְהַקֹּסְמִ֣יםve.ha.ko.se.MimH7080liesכָּזָב֒ka.ZavH3577: they shallnotלֹֽא־lo'-H3808be in thecouncilבְּס֧וֹדbe.SodH5475of mypeopleעַמִּ֣י'a.MiH5971,neitherלֹ֣אlo'H3808shall they bewrittenH3789in thewritingH3789of thehouseבֵּֽית־beit-H1004ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478,neitherלֹ֣אlo'H3808shall theyenterיָבֹ֑אוּya.Vo.'uH935intoוְאֶל־ve.'el-H413thelandאַדְמַ֥ת'ad.MatH127ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478; and ye shallknowוִידַעְתֶּ֕םvi.da'.TemH3045that I am theLordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136.

10Becauseיַ֣עַןYa.'anH3282,evenH853becauseוּבְיַ֜עַןu.ve.Ya.'anH3282they have seduced mypeopleעַמִּ֛י'a.MiH5971,sayingלֵאמֹ֥רle.MorH559,Peaceשָׁל֖וֹםsha.LomH7965; and there isnoוְאֵ֣יןve.'EinH369peaceשָׁל֑וֹםsha.LomH7965; and when one buildethupבֹּ֣נֶהBo.nehH1129awallחַ֔יִץCha.yitzH2434,beholdוְהִנָּ֛םve.hi.NamH2009, they daub it with untempered mortar:

11sayאֱמֹ֛ר'e.MorH559unto themwhichH7307daub it with untempered mortar, that it shallfallוְיִפֹּ֑לve.yi.PolH5307: there shall be anoverflowingשׁוֹטֵ֗ףsho.TefH7857showerגֶּ֣שֶׁםGe.shemH1653; and ye, O greathailstonesאַבְנֵ֤י'av.NeiH68, shallfallתִּפֹּ֔לְנָהti.Po.le.nahH5307; and a stormywindוְר֥וּחַve.Ru.achH7307shall rend it.

12Loוְהִנֵּ֖הve.hi.NehH2009, when thewallהַקִּ֑ירha.KirH7023isfallenנָפַ֣לna.FalH5307, shall itnotהֲלוֹא֙ha.lO'H3808besaidיֵאָמֵ֣רye.'a.MerH559untoyouH834,WhereH834is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?

13Thereforethusכֹּ֤הkohH3541saith theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136; I willevenלָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651rend it with a stormywindרֽוּחַ־Ru.ach-H7307in myfuryבַּֽחֲמָתִ֑יba.cha.ma.TiH2534; and there shall be anoverflowingשֹׁטֵף֙sho.TefH7857showerוְגֶ֤שֶׁםve.Ge.shemH1653in mineangerבְּאַפִּ֣יbe.'a.PiH639, and greathailstonesוְאַבְנֵ֥יve.'av.NeiH68infuryבְּחֵמָ֥הbe.che.MahH2534to consume it.

14SoH834will Ibreakוְהָ֨רַסְתִּ֜יve.Ha.ras.TiH2040downH5307thewallהַקִּ֨ירha.KirH7023that ye have daubed with untempered mortar, andbringH3045itdownH5307to thegroundהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776,soH834that thefoundationיְסֹד֑וֹye.so.DoH3247thereof shall bediscoveredH3045: and it shallfallוְנָֽפְלָה֙ve.na.fe.LahH5307, and ye shall beconsumedוּכְלִיתֶ֣םu.khe.li.TemH3615in themidstבְּתוֹכָ֔הּbe.to.KhahH8432thereof; and ye shallknowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֖םvi.da'.TemH3045that I am theLORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

15Thus will Iaccomplishוְכִלֵּיתִ֤יve.khi.lei.TiH3615myfuryחֲמָתִי֙cha.ma.TiH2534upon thewallבַּקִּ֔ירba.KirH7023, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered mortar; and I willsayוְאֹמַ֤רve.'o.MarH559untoyouH853, Thewallהַקִּ֔ירha.KirH7023isnoH369moreH369,neitherH369they that daubed it;

16to wit, theprophetsנְבִיאֵ֣יne.vi.'EiH5030ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478whichprophesyהַֽנִבְּאִים֙ha.ni.be.'ImH5012concerningJerusalemיְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םye.Ru.sha.LimH3389, and which seevisionsחֲז֣וֹןcha.ZonH2377ofpeaceשָׁלֹ֑םsha.LomH7965forherאֶל־'el-H413, and there isnoוְאֵ֣יןve.'EinH369peaceשָׁלֹ֔םsha.LomH7965, saith theLordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136.
