2Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120,prophesyהִנָּבֵ֛אhi.na.Ve'H5012against the prophetsנְבִיאֵ֥יne.vi.'EiH5030of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478that prophesyהַנִּבָּאִ֑יםha.ni.ba.'ImH5012,and sayוְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ve.'a.mar.TaH559thou unto them that prophesyלִנְבִיאֵ֣יlin.vi.'EiH5030out of their own heartsמִלִּבָּ֔םmi.li.BamH3820,Hearשִׁמְע֖וּshim.'UH8085ye the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068;
3Thus saithאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069;Woeה֖וֹיHoH1945unto the foolishהַנְּבָלִ֑יםha.ne.va.LimH5036prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֣יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,that followהֹלְכִ֛ים אַחַ֥רho.le.Khim 'a.CharH310H1980their own spiritרוּחָ֖םru.ChamH7307,and have seenרָאֽוּ׃ra.'UH7200nothing!
5Ye have not gone upעֲלִיתֶם֙'a.li.TemH5927into the gapsבַּפְּרָצ֔וֹתba.pe.ra.TzotH6556,neither made upוַתִּגְדְּר֥וּva.tig.de.RuH1443the hedgeגָדֵ֖רga.DerH1447for the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478to standלַעֲמֹ֥דla.'a.ModH5975in the battleבַּמִּלְחָמָ֖הba.mil.cha.MahH4421in the dayבְּי֥וֹםbe.YomH3117of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
6They have seenחָ֤זוּCha.zuH2372vanityשָׁוְא֙shaV'H7723and lyingכָּזָ֔בka.ZavH3577divinationוְקֶ֣סֶםve.Ke.semH7081,sayingהָאֹֽמְרִים֙ha.'o.me.RimH559,The Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002:and the Lordוַֽיהוָ֖הva.Yah.wehH3068hath not sentשְׁלָחָ֑םshe.la.ChamH7971them: and they have made othersto hopeוְיִֽחֲל֖וּve.yi.cha.LuH3176that they would confirmלְקַיֵּ֥םle.kai.YemH6965the wordדָּבָֽר׃da.VarH1697.
7Have ye not seenחֲזִיתֶ֔םcha.zi.TemH2372a vainשָׁוְא֙shaV'H7723visionמַֽחֲזֵה־ma.cha.zeh-H4236,and have ye not spokenדִבַּֽרְתִּי׃ סdi.Bar.tiH1696a lyingכָּזָ֖בka.ZavH3577divinationוּמִקְסַ֥םu.mik.SamH4738,whereas ye sayאֲמַרְתֶּ֑ם'a.mar.TemH559,The Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002it;albeit I have not spokenוְאֹֽמְרִים֙ve.'o.me.RimH559?
8Therefore thus saithאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069;Because ye have spokenדַּבֶּרְכֶ֣םda.ber.KhemH1696vanityשָׁ֔וְאShav'H7723,and seenוַחֲזִיתֶ֖םva.cha.zi.TemH2372liesכָּזָ֑בka.ZavH3577, therefore, behold, I amagainst you, saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִֽה׃Yah.wehH3069.
9And mine handיָדִ֗יya.DiH3027shall be upon the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֞יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030that seeH2374vanityשָׁוְא֮shaV'H7723,and that divineוְהַקֹּסְמִ֣יםve.ha.ko.se.MimH7080liesכָּזָב֒ka.ZavH3577:they shall not be in the assemblyבְּס֧וֹדbe.SodH5475of my peopleעַמִּ֣י'a.MiH5971,neither shall they be writtenיִכָּתֵ֔בוּyi.ka.Te.vuH3789in the writingוּבִכְתָ֤בu.vikh.TavH3791of the houseבֵּֽית־beit-H1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478,neither shall they enterיָבֹ֑אוּya.Vo.'uH935into the landאַדְמַ֥ת'ad.MatH127of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478;and ye shall knowוִידַעְתֶּ֕םvi.da'.TemH3045that I amthe Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִֽה׃Yah.wehH3069.
10Because, even because they have seducedהִטְע֧וּhit.'UH2937my peopleעַמִּ֛י'a.MiH5971,sayingלֵאמֹ֥רle.MorH559,Peaceשָׁל֖וֹםsha.LomH7965; and there wasno peaceשָׁל֑וֹםsha.LomH7965;and one built upבֹּ֣נֶהBo.nehH1129a wallחַ֔יִץCha.yitzH2434,and, loוְהִנָּ֛םve.hi.NamH2009,others daubedטָחִ֥יםta.ChimH2902it with untemperedתָּפֵֽל׃ta.FelH8602morter:
11Sayאֱמֹ֛ר'e.MorH559unto them which daubטָחֵ֥יta.CheiH2902itwith untemperedתָפֵ֖לta.FelH8602morter,that it shall fallוְיִפֹּ֑לve.yi.PolH5307:there shall be an overflowingשׁוֹטֵ֗ףsho.TefH7857showerגֶּ֣שֶׁםGe.shemH1653;and yeוְאַתֵּ֜נָהve.'a.Te.nahH859,O great hailstonesאַבְנֵ֤י אֶלְגָּבִישׁ֙'av.Nei 'el.ga.VishH68H417,shall fallתִּפֹּ֔לְנָהti.Po.le.nahH5307;and a stormyסְעָר֖וֹתse.'a.RotH5591windוְר֥וּחַve.Ru.achH7307shall rendתְּבַקֵּֽעַ׃te.va.Ke.a'H1234it.
13Therefore thus saithאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069;I will even rendוּבִקַּעְתִּ֥יu.vi.ka'.TiH1234itwith a stormyסְעָר֖וֹתse.'a.RotH5591windרֽוּחַ־Ru.ach-H7307in my furyבַּֽחֲמָתִ֑יba.cha.ma.TiH2534;and there shall be an overflowingשֹׁטֵף֙sho.TefH7857showerוְגֶ֤שֶׁםve.Ge.shemH1653in mine angerבְּאַפִּ֣יbe.'a.PiH639,and great hailstonesוְאַבְנֵ֥י אֶלְגָּבִ֖ישׁve.'av.Nei 'el.ga.VishH68H417in myfuryבְּחֵמָ֥הbe.che.MahH2534to consumeלְכָלָֽה׃le.kha.LahH3617it.
14So will I break downוְהָ֨רַסְתִּ֜יve.Ha.ras.TiH2040the wallהַקִּ֨ירha.KirH7023that ye have daubedטַחְתֶּ֥םtach.TemH2902with untemperedתָּפֵ֛לta.FelH8602morter,and bringוְהִגַּעְתִּ֥יהוּve.hi.ga'.Ti.huH5060it down to the groundהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776,so that the foundationיְסֹד֑וֹye.so.DoH3247thereof shall be discoveredוְנִגְלָ֣הve.nig.LahH1540,and it shall fallוְנָֽפְלָה֙ve.na.fe.LahH5307,and ye shall be consumedוּכְלִיתֶ֣םu.khe.li.TemH3615in the midstבְּתוֹכָ֔הּbe.to.KhahH8432thereof: and ye shall knowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֖םvi.da'.TemH3045that I amthe Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
15Thus will I accomplishוְכִלֵּיתִ֤יve.khi.lei.TiH3615my wrathחֲמָתִי֙cha.ma.TiH2534upon the wallבַּקִּ֔ירba.KirH7023,and upon them that have daubedוּבַטָּחִ֥יםu.va.ta.ChimH2902it with untemperedתָּפֵ֑לta.FelH8602morter,and will sayוְאֹמַ֤רve.'o.MarH559unto you, The wallהַקִּ֔ירha.KirH7023is no more,neither they that daubedהַטָּחִ֥יםha.ta.ChimH2902it;
16To wit,the prophetsנְבִיאֵ֣יne.vi.'EiH5030of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478which prophesyהַֽנִבְּאִים֙ha.ni.be.'ImH5012concerning Jerusalemיְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םye.Ru.sha.LimH3389,and which seeH2374visionsחֲז֣וֹןcha.ZonH2377of peaceשָׁלֹ֑םsha.LomH7965for her, and there isno peaceשָׁלֹ֔םsha.LomH7965,saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהֹוִֽה׃ פYah.wehH3069.
