Romans 14:13-23
13ThereforeG3767 let’s not 1judgeG2919 oneG240 anotherG240 anymoreG3371, but ratherG3123 2determineG2919 thisG3778: 3not to putG5087 an obstacleG4348 orG2228 a stumblingG4625 blockG4625 in a brother’sG80 or sister’s way.
14I knowG3609 and am convincedG3982 4in the LordG2962 JesusG2424 that 5nothingG3762 is 6uncleanG2839 in itselfG1438; but to the one who 7thinksG3049 somethingG5100 is 8uncleanG2839, to that person it is 9uncleanG2839.
15For ifG1487 becauseG1223 of foodG1033 your brotherG80 or sister is hurtG3076, you are noG3765 longerG3765 10walkingG4043 inG2596 accordanceG2596 withG2596 loveG26. 11Do not destroyG622 with your choice of foodG1033 that person for whomG3739 ChristG5547 diedG599.
16ThereforeG3767 12do not let whatG18 isG18 for you a goodG18 thingG18 be 13spokenG987 ofG987 asG987 evilG987;
17for the kingdomG932 of GodG2316 14is not eatingG1035 and drinkingG4213, but righteousnessG1343 and 15peaceG1515 and 16joyG5479 in the HolyG40 SpiritG4151.
18For the one who 17servesG1398 ChristG5547 in thisG3778 way is 18acceptableG2101 to GodG2316 and approvedG1384 by other peopleG444.
19SoG686 thenG3767 we 19pursueG1377 the things 20which make for peaceG1515 and the 21buildingG3619 upG3619 of oneG240 anotherG240.
2022Do not tearG2647 downG2647 the workG2041 of GodG2316 for the sakeG1752 of foodG1033. 23AllG3956 thingsG3956 indeedG3303 are cleanG2513, but 24they are evilG2556 for the personG444 who eatsG2068 25and causesG1223 offenseG4348.
2126It is goodG2570 not to eatG2068 meatG2907 orG3366 to drinkG4095 wineG3631, orG3366 to do anything by whichG3739 your brotherG80 or sister stumblesG4350.
22The faithG4102 whichG3739 you haveG2192, haveG2192 27as your ownG4572 convictionG4572 beforeG1799 GodG2316. HappyG3107 is the one who 28does not condemnG2919 himselfG1438 in whatG3739 he approvesG1381.
23But 29the one who doubtsG1252 is condemnedG2632 ifG1437 he eatsG2068, becauseG3754 his eating is not from faithG4102; and whateverG3956G3739 is not from faithG4102 is sinG266.
