Psalms 18:35-48
35You have also givenH5414 me 1the shieldH4043 of Your salvationH3468, And Your 2rightH3225 handH3225 upholdsH5582 me; And 3Your 4gentlenessH6038 makesH7235 me greatH7235.36You 5enlargeH7337 my stepsH6806 underH8478 me, And my 67feetH7166 have not slippedH4571.
37I 8pursuedH7291 my enemiesH340 and overtookH5381 them, And I did not turnH7725 backH7725 9untilH5704 they were consumedH3615.38I shatteredH4272 them, so that they wereH3201 10not ableH3201 to riseH6965; They fellH5307 11underH8478 my feetH7272.39For You have 12encircledH247 me with strengthH2428 for battleH4421; You have forced those who roseH6965 upH6965 against me 13to bowH3766 downH3766 underH8478 me.40You have also madeH5414 my enemiesH340 14turnH5414 their backsH6203 to me, And I 1516destroyedH6789 those who hatedH8130 me.41They criedH7768 forH7768 helpH7768, but thereH369 wasH369 17noH369 oneH369 to saveH3467, They cried to the LordH3068, but 18He did not answerH6030 them.42Then I beatH7833 them fineH7833 like the 19dustH6083 beforeH5921H6440 the windH7307; I emptiedH7385 them outH7385 like the mudH2916 of the streetsH2351.
43You have rescuedH6403 me from the 20contentionsH7379 of the peopleH5971; You have placedH7760 me as 21headH7218 of the nationsH1471; A 22peopleH5971 whom I have not knownH3045 serveH5647 me.44As soon as they hearH8088H241, they obeyH8085 me; ForeignersH1121H5236 23pretendH3584 toH3584 obeyH3584 me.45ForeignersH1121H5236 24loseH5034 heartH5034, And 25comeH2727 tremblingH2727 out of their 26fortressesH4526.
46The LordH3068 27livesH2416, and blessedH1288 be 28my rockH6697; And exaltedH7311 be 29the GodH430 of my salvationH3468,47The GodH410 who 30executesH5414 vengeanceH5360 for me, And 31subduesH1696 peoplesH5971 underH8478 me.48He 32rescuesH6403 me from my enemiesH340; You indeedH637 33liftH7311 me aboveH4480 those who riseH6965 upH6965 against me; You rescueH5337 me from a 34violentH2555 manH376.
