2Theseוְאֵ֛לֶּהve.'E.lehH428then are the namesשְׁמ֥וֹתshe.MotH8034of the sonsבְּֽנֵי־be.nei-H1121of Aaronאַהֲרֹ֖ן'a.ha.RonH175:Nadabנָדָ֑בna.DavH5070the firstbornהַבְּכ֣וֹר׀ha.be.KhorH1060,and Abihuוַאֲבִיה֕וּאva.'a.vi.Hu'H30,Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֖ר'el.'a.ZarH499and Ithamarוְאִיתָמָֽר׃ve.'i.ta.MarH385.

3Theseאֵ֗לֶּה'E.lehH428are the namesשְׁמוֹת֙she.mOtH8034of the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Aaronאַהֲרֹ֔ן'a.ha.RonH175, theanointedהַמְּשֻׁחִ֑יםha.me.shu.ChimH4886priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֖יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548,whomאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834heordainedמִלֵּ֥א יָדָ֖םmi.Le' ya.DamH4390 H3027to serveלְכַהֵֽן׃le.kha.HenH3547asH3547priestsH3547.

5Then the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068spokeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872,sayingלֵּאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

6“Bringהַקְרֵב֙hak.RevH7126the tribeמַטֵּ֣הma.TehH4294of LeviH3878forwardH7126and presentוְֽהַעֲמַדְתָּ֣ve.ha.'a.mad.TaH5975them beforeלִפְנֵ֖יlif.NeiH6440Aaronאַהֲרֹ֣ן'a.ha.RonH175the priestהַכֹּהֵ֑ןha.ko.HenH3548,that they may serveוְשֵׁרְת֖וּve.she.re.TuH8334him.

7They shall performוְשָׁמְר֣וּve.sha.me.RuH8104the dutiesH4931forhim and for the wholeכָּל־kol-H3605congregationהָ֣עֵדָ֔הha.'e.DahH5712in frontלִפְנֵ֖יlif.NeiH6440of the tentאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of meetingמוֹעֵ֑דmo.'EdH4150,to doלַעֲבֹ֖דla.'a.VodH5647theserviceעֲבֹדַ֥ת'a.vo.DatH5656of the tabernacleהַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ha.mish.KanH4908.

8They shall also takeH8104careH8104of allכָּל־kol-H3605the furnishingsכְּלֵי֙ke.LeiH3627of the tentאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of meetingמוֹעֵ֔דmo.'EdH4150,along with the dutiesמִשְׁמֶ֖רֶתmish.Me.retH4931of the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,to doלַעֲבֹ֖דla.'a.VodH5647the serviceעֲבֹדַ֥ת'a.vo.DatH5656of the tabernacleהַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ha.mish.KanH4908.

9So you shallassignוְנָתַתָּה֙ve.na.ta.TahH5414the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881to Aaronלְאַהֲרֹ֖ןle.'a.ha.RonH175and to his sonsוּלְבָנָ֑יוu.le.va.NavH1121;they are exclusivelyנְתוּנִ֨םne.tu.NimH5414assignedנְתוּנִ֥םne.tu.NimH5414to him from the sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

10So you shall appointתִּפְקֹ֔דtif.KodH6485Aaronאַהֲרֹ֤ן'a.ha.RonH175and his sonsבָּנָיו֙ba.NavH1121that they maykeepוְשָׁמְר֖וּve.sha.me.RuH8104their priesthoodכְּהֻנָּתָ֑םke.hu.na.TamH3550, but thelaymanוְהַזָּ֥רve.ha.ZarH2114who comesH7131nearH7131shall be putיוּמָֽת׃ פyu.MatH4191toH4191deathH4191.”

11Again the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068spokeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872,sayingלֵּאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

12“Now, beholdהִנֵּ֧הhi.NehH2009, Ihave takenלָקַ֣חְתִּיla.Kach.tiH3947the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֗םhal.vi.YimH3881from amongמִתּוֹךְ֙mi.toKhH8432the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478insteadH8478ofH8478everyכָּל־kol-H3605firstbornבְּכ֛וֹרbe.KhorH1060,the firstbornפֶּ֥טֶרPe.terH6363of the wombרֶ֖חֶםRe.chemH7358amongH4480the sonsמִבְּנֵ֣יmi.be.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478.So the Levitesהַלְוִיִּֽם׃hal.vi.YimH3881shall be Mine.

13Forallכָּל־kol-H3605the firstbornבְּכוֹר֒be.khOrH1060are Mine; on the dayבְּיוֹם֩be.yOmH3117that I fatallyH5221struckH5221allכָל־khol-H3605the firstbornבְּכ֜וֹרbe.KhorH1060in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֗יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,I sanctifiedהִקְדַּ֨שְׁתִּיhik.Dash.tiH6942to Myself allכָל־khol-H3605the firstbornבְּכוֹר֙be.khOrH1060in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478,from the humanמֵאָדָ֖םme.'a.DamH120firstbornto animalsבְּהֵמָ֑הbe.he.MahH929.They shall be Mine; I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.”
