Matthew 7:21-29

21“Not everyoneπᾶςpasG3956who saysλέγωνlegōnG3004to Me, ‘LordκύριεkurieG2962,Lordκύριε,kurieG2962,’will enterεἰσελεύσεταιeiseleusetaiG1525the kingdomβασιλείανbasileianG932of heavenοὐρανῶν,ouranōnG3772,but the one who doesποιῶνpoiōnG4160the willθέλημαthelēmaG2307of My FatherπατρόςpatrosG3962who is in heavenοὐρανοῖς.ouranoisG3772will enter.

22ManyπολλοὶpolloiG4183will sayG3004to Me onthat dayἡμέρᾳ·hēmeraG2250, ‘LordκύριεkurieG2962,Lordκύριε,kurieG2962,did we not prophesyἐπροφητεύσαμενeprophēteusamenG4395in Your nameὀνόματιonomatiG3686,and in Your nameὀνόματιonomatiG3686castἐξεβάλομενexebalomenG1544outG1544demonsδαιμόνιαdaimoniaG1140,and in Your nameὀνόματιonomatiG3686performἐποιήσαμεν;epoiēsamenG4160manyπολλὰςpollasG4183miraclesδυνάμειςdunameisG1411?’

23And thenτότεtoteG5119I will declareὁμολογήσωhomologēsōG3670to them, ‘I neverοὐδέποτεoudepoteG3763knewἔγνωνegnōnG1097you;leaveἀποχωρεῖτεapochōreiteG672Me, you who practiceἐργαζόμενοιergazomenoiG2038lawlessnessἀνομίαν.¶anomianG458.’

24“ThereforeοὖνounG3767,everyoneΠᾶςPasG3956whoὅστιςhostisG3748hearsἀκούειakoueiG191theseτούτουςtoutousG3778wordsλόγουςlogousG3056of MineG1473, andactsποιεῖpoieiG4160on them, will be likeὁμοιωθήσεταιhomoiōthēsetaiG3666a wiseφρονίμῳphronimōG5429manἀνδρὶandriG435whoὅστιςhostisG3748builtᾠκοδόμησενōkodomēsenG3618his houseοἰκίανoikianG3614on the rockπέτραν.petranG4073.

25And the rainβροχὴbrochēG1028fellκατέβηkatebēG2597and thefloodsποταμοὶpotamoiG4215cameἦλθονēlthonG2064,and the windsἄνεμοι,anemoiG417blewἔπνευσανepneusanG4154and slammedG4363againstG4363that houseοἰκίᾳoikiaG3614; and yetit did not fallἔπεσεν·epesenG4098,for it had been foundedτεθεμελίωτοtethemeliōtoG2311on the rockπέτραν.¶petranG4073.

26And everyoneπᾶςpasG3956who hearsἀκούωνakouōnG191theseτούτουςtoutousG3778wordsλόγουςlogousG3056of MineG1473, and does notactποιῶνpoiōnG4160on them, will be likeὁμοιωθήσεταιhomoiōthēsetaiG3666a foolishμωρῷmōrōG3474manἀνδρὶandriG435whoὅστιςhostisG3748builtᾠκοδόμησενōkodomēsenG3618his houseοἰκίανoikianG3614on the sandἄμμον.ammonG285.

27And the rainβροχὴbrochēG1028fellκατέβηkatebēG2597and thefloodsποταμοὶpotamoiG4215cameἦλθονēlthonG2064,and the windsἄνεμοι,anemoiG417blewἔπνευσανepneusanG4154and slammedG4350againstG4350that houseοἰκίᾳoikiaG3614;and it fellἔπεσεν·epesenG4098--and its collapseπτῶσιςptōsisG4431was greatμεγάλη.¶megalēG3173.”

28WhenὅτεhoteG3753JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424had finishedἐτέλεσενetelesenG5055theseτούτους,toutousG3778wordsλόγουςlogousG3056,the crowdsὄχλοιochloiG3793were amazedἐξεπλήσσοντοexeplēssontoG1605at His teachingδιδαχῇdidachēaG1322;

29for He was teachingδιδάσκωνdidaskōnG1321them as one who hadἔχωνechōnG2192authorityἐξουσίανexousianG1849,and not as their scribesγραμματεῖςgrammateisG1122.
