1“The Leviticalהַלְוִיִּ֜םhal.vi.YimH3881priestsלַכֹּהֲנִ֨יםla.ko.ha.NimH3548,the wholeכָּל־kol-H3605tribeשֵׁ֧בֶטShe.vetH7626of Leviלֵוִ֛יle.ViH3878,shall not haveיִ֠הְיֶהYih.yehH1961a portionחֵ֥לֶקChe.lekH2506or inheritanceוְנַחֲלָ֖הve.na.cha.LahH5159with Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478;they shall eatיֹאכֵלֽוּן׃yo.khe.LunH398the Lord’sיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068offeringsH801byH801fireאִשֵּׁ֧י'i.SheiH801and Hispropertyוְנַחֲלָת֖וֹve.na.cha.la.ToH5159.

2They shall not haveיִֽהְיֶה־yih.yeh-H1961an inheritanceוְנַחֲלָ֥הve.na.cha.LahH5159amongבְּקֶ֣רֶבbe.Ke.revH7130their countrymenאֶחָ֑יו'e.ChavH251;the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068is their inheritanceנַחֲלָת֔וֹna.cha.la.ToH5159, as Hepromisedדִּבֶּר־di.ber-H1696them.

3“Now thisוְזֶ֡הve.ZehH2088shall be the priests’הַכֹּהֲנִ֜יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548portionמִשְׁפַּ֨טmish.PatH4941from the peopleהָעָ֗םha.'AmH5971,from those who offerזֹבְחֵ֥יzoe.CheiH2076a sacrificeהַזֶּ֖בַחha.Ze.vachH2077,eitherאִם־'im-H518an oxשׁ֣וֹרShorH7794orאִם־'im-H518a sheepשֶׂ֑הSehH7716:they shall giveוְנָתַן֙ve.na.TanH5414the priestלַכֹּהֵ֔ןla.ko.HenH3548the shoulderהַזְּרֹ֥עַha.ze.Ro.a'H2220,the twoH3895cheeksוְהַלְּחָיַ֖יִםve.ha.le.cha.Ya.yimH3895,and the stomachוְהַקֵּבָֽה׃ve.ha.ke.VahH6896.

4You shall giveתִּתֶּן־ti.ten-H5414him thefirstרֵאשִׁ֨יתre.ShitH7225fruitsH7225of your grainדְּגָֽנְךָ֜de.ga.ne.KhaH1715,your newתִּֽירֹשְׁךָ֣ti.ro.she.KhaH8492wineH8492,and your oilוְיִצְהָרֶ֗ךָve.yitz.ha.Re.khaH3323,and the firstוְרֵאשִׁ֛יתve.re.ShitH7225fleeceגֵּ֥זgezH1488of your sheepצֹאנְךָ֖tzo.ne.KhaH6629.

5For the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430has chosenבָּחַ֛רba.CharH977him and his sonsוּבָנָ֖יוu.va.NavH1121from allמִכָּל־mi.kolH3605your tribesשְׁבָטֶ֑יךָshe.va.Tei.khaH7626, tostandלַעֲמֹ֨דla.'a.ModH5975to serveלְשָׁרֵ֧תle.sha.RetH8334in the nameבְּשֵׁם־be.shem-H8034of the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068alwaysכָּל־ הַיָּמִֽים׃ סkol- hai.ya.MimH3605 H3117.

6“Now ifוְכִֽי־ve.khi-H3588a Leviteהַלֵּוִ֜יha.le.ViH3881comesיָבֹ֨אya.Vo'H935from anyמֵאַחַ֤דme.'a.ChadH259of yourtownsשְׁעָרֶ֙יךָ֙she.'a.Rei.khaH8179throughoutמִכָּל־mi.kolH4480 H3605Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478whereאֲשֶׁר־ שָׁ֑ם'a.Sher- ShamH834 H8033heresidesגָּ֣רgarH1481,and he comesוּבָא֙u.Va'H935wheneverבְּכָל־be.kholH3605he desiresאַוַּ֣ת'a.VatH185to the placeהַמָּק֖וֹםha.ma.KomH4725whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068choosesיִבְחַ֥רyiv.CharH977,

7then he shall serveוְשֵׁרֵ֕תve.she.RetH8334in the nameבְּשֵׁ֖םbe.ShemH8034of the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068his Godאֱלֹהָ֑יו'e.lo.HavH430,like allכְּכָל־ke.khol-H3605his fellowאֶחָיו֙'e.ChavH251Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881who standהָעֹמְדִ֥יםha.'o.me.DimH5975thereשָׁ֖םshamH8033beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

8They shall eatיֹאכֵ֑לוּyo.Khe.luH398equalחֵ֥לֶקChe.lekH2506portionsכְּחֵ֖לֶקke.Che.lekH2506,exceptלְבַ֥דle.VadH905for what they receivefrom the saleמִמְכָּרָ֖יוmi.ka.RavH4465of their fathers’הָאָבֽוֹת׃ סha.'a.VotH1estates.

9“Whenכִּ֤יkiH3588you enterבָּ֣אba'H935the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430is givingנֹתֵ֣ןno.TenH5414you, you shall not learnתִלְמַ֣דtil.MadH3925toimitateלַעֲשׂ֔וֹתla.'a.SotH6213the detestableH8441thingsH8441of thoseהָהֵֽם׃ha.HemH1992nationsהַגּוֹיִ֥םha.go.YimH1471.

10There shall not be foundיִמָּצֵ֣אyi.ma.Tze'H4672among you anyonewho makes his sonבְּנֽוֹ־be.nov-H1121or his daughterוּבִתּ֖וֹu.vi.ToH1323passמַעֲבִ֥ירma.'a.VirH5674through the fireבָּאֵ֑שׁba.'EshH784,one who usesקֹסֵ֣םko.SemH7080divinationקְסָמִ֔יםke.sa.MimH7081, asoothsayerמְעוֹנֵ֥ןme.'o.NenH6049,one who interpretsH5172omensH5172,or a sorcererוּמְכַשֵּֽׁף׃u.me.kha.ShefH3784,

11or one who castsוְחֹבֵ֖רve.cho.VerH2266a spellחָ֑בֶרCha.verH2267,or a mediumוְשֹׁאֵ֥ל אוֹב֙ve.sho.'El 'OvH7592 H178,or a spiritistוְיִדְּעֹנִ֔יve.yi.de.'o.NiH3049,or one who consultsוְדֹרֵ֖שׁve.do.ReshH1875the deadהַמֵּתִֽים׃ha.me.TimH4191.

12For whoeverכָּל־kol-H3605doesעֹ֣שֵׂה'O.sehH6213theseH428thingsH428is detestableH8441to the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068; andbecauseוּבִגְלַל֙u.vig.LalH1558of theseH428detestableH8441thingsH8441the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430is going to driveH3423them outH3423beforeמִפָּנֶֽיךָ׃mi.pa.Nei.khaH6440you.

13You are to be blamelessתָּמִ֣יםta.MimH8549beforeעִ֖ם'imH5973the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ ס'e.lo.Hei.khaH430.

14For theseהָאֵ֗לֶּהha.'E.lehH428nationsהַגּוֹיִ֣םha.go.YimH1471,whichאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834you are going to dispossessיוֹרֵ֣שׁyo.ReshH3423,listenיִשְׁמָ֑עוּyish.Ma.'uH8085tosoothsayersמְעֹנְנִ֥יםme.'o.ne.NimH6049and divinersקֹסְמִ֖יםko.se.MimH7080,but as for you, the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃'e.lo.Hei.khaH430has not allowedנָ֛תַןNa.tanH5414you to dosoכֵ֔ןKhenH3651.
