8But ifΕἰEiG1487anyoneτιςtisG5100does not provideπρονοεῖ,pronoeiG4306for his ownἰδίωνidiōnG2398,and especiallyμάλισταmalistaG3122for thoseG3609ofG3609his householdοἰκείωνoikeiōnG3609, he hasdeniedἤρνηταιērnētaiG720the faithπίστινpistinG4102and is worseχείρων.cheirōnG5501than an unbelieverἀπίστουapistouG571.

9A widowχήραchēraG5503is to beputG2639onG2639theG2639listG2639only if she is not lessἔλαττονelattonG1640than sixtyἑξήκονταhexēkontaG1835yearsἐτῶνetōnG2094old, having beenthe wifeγυνή,gunēG1135of oneἑνὸςhenosG1520manἀνδρὸςandrosG435,

12therebyincurringἔχουσαιechousaiG2192condemnationκρίμα,krimaG2917,becauseὅτιhotiG3754they haveignoredἠθέτησαν·ēthetēsanG114their previousπρώτηνprōtēnG4413pledgeπίστινpistinG4102.

13At the sameἅμαhamaG260timeG260they alsoG2532learnμανθάνουσινmanthanousinG3129to beidleἀργαὶargaiG692,as they goG4022aroundG4022from houseοἰκίας.oikiasG3614to houseG3614;and not merelyμόνονmononG3441idleἀργαί,argaiG692,but alsoG2532they becomegossipsφλύαροιphluaroiG5397andbusybodiesπερίεργοι,periergoiG4021,talkingλαλοῦσαιlalousaiG2980aboutthingsG1189not properG1189to mention.
