Romans 7:7-13

71WhatG5101 shall we sayG3004 thenG3767? Is the LawG3551 sinG266? 2May it neverG3361 be! On the contraryG235, 3I would not have come to knowG1097 sinG266 exceptG1508 4throughG1223 the LawG3551; for I would not have knownG3609 aboutG3609 5covetingG1939 ifG1487 the LawG3551 had not saidG3004, “6You shall not 7covetG1937.” 8But sinG266, 8takingG2983 opportunityG874 9throughG1223 the commandmentG1785, producedG2716 in me 10covetingG1939 of everyG3956 kindG3956; for 11apartG5565 12from the LawG3551 sinG266 is deadG3498. 9I was onceG4218 aliveG2198 apartG5565 13from the LawG3551; but when the commandmentG1785 cameG2064, sinG266 becameG326 aliveG326 and I diedG599; 10and thisG3778 commandmentG1785, which was 1415to resultG1519 in lifeG2222, provedG2147 16to resultG1519 in deathG2288 for me; 11for sinG266, 17takingG2983 an opportunityG874 18throughG1223 the commandmentG1785, 19deceivedG1818 me and throughG1223 it killedG615 me. 1220SoG5620 thenG5620, the LawG3551 is holyG40, and the commandmentG1785 is holyG40 and righteousG1342 and goodG18.

13ThereforeG3767 did that whichG18 is goodG18 becomeG1096 a cause of deathG2288 for me? 21May it neverG3361 be! RatherG235 it was sinG266, in orderG2443 that it might be shownG5316 to be sinG266 by effectingG2716 my deathG2288 throughG1223 that whichG18 is goodG18, soG2443 that throughG1223 the commandmentG1785 sinG266 would becomeG1096 utterlyG5236 sinfulG266.
