John 5:39-47

3912You searchG2045 the ScripturesG1124 becauseG3754 you thinkG1380 that in them you haveG2192 eternalG166 lifeG2222; it is 3theseG1565 that testifyG3140 aboutG4012 Me;

40and you are unwillingG3756G2309 to comeG2064 to Me soG2443 that you may haveG2192 lifeG2222.

414I do not receiveG2983 gloryG1391 from menG444;

42but I knowG1097 you, that you do not haveG2192 the loveG26 of GodG2316 in yourselvesG1438.

43I have comeG2064 in My Father’sG3962 nameG3686, and you do not receiveG2983 Me; 5ifG1437 anotherG243 comesG2064 in his ownG2398 nameG3686, you will receiveG2983 him.

44HowG4459 canG1410 you believeG4100, when you 6receiveG2983 7gloryG1391 from oneG240 anotherG240 and you do not seekG2212 8the 9gloryG1391 that is from 10the one and onlyG3441 GodG2316?

45Do not thinkG1380 that I will accuseG2723 you beforeG4314 the FatherG3962; the one who accusesG2723 you is 11MosesG3475, in whomG3739 you have setG1679 your hopeG1679.

46For ifG1487 you believedG4100 MosesG3475, you would believeG4100 Me, for 12he wroteG1125 aboutG4012 Me.

47But 13ifG1487 you do not believeG4100 his writingsG1121, howG4459 will you believeG4100 My wordsG4487?”
