John 20:1-9

11NowG1161 on the firstG1520 day of the weekG4521 2MaryG3137 MagdaleneG3094 cameG2064 earlyG4404 to the tombG3419, while it was stillG2089 darkG4653, and sawG991 3the stoneG3037 already takenG142 awayG142 from the tombG3419.

2SoG3767 she ranG5143 and cameG2064 to SimonG4613 PeterG4074 and to the otherG243 4discipleG3101 whomG3739 JesusG2424 lovedG5368, and saidG3004 to them, “5They have takenG142 awayG142 the LordG2962 out of the tombG3419, and we do not knowG3609 whereG4226 they have laidG5087 Him.”

36SoG3767 PeterG4074 and the otherG243 discipleG3101 wentG1831 forthG1831, and they were goingG2064 to the tombG3419.

4The twoG1417 were runningG5143 togetherG3674; and the otherG243 discipleG3101 ranG4390 aheadG4390 fasterG5036 than PeterG4074 and cameG2064 to the tombG3419 firstG4413;

5and 7stoopingG3879 and lookingG3879 in, he sawG991 the 8linenG3608 wrappingsG3608 lyingG2749 there; but he did not goG1525 in.

6And soG3767 SimonG4613 PeterG4074 alsoG2532 cameG2064, followingG190 him, and enteredG1525 the tombG3419; and he sawG2334 the linenG3608 wrappingsG3608 lyingG2749 there,

7and 9the face-clothG4676 whichG3739 had beenG1510 on His headG2776, not lyingG2749 with the 10linenG3608 wrappingsG3608, but rolledG1794 up in a placeG5117 by itselfG5565.

8SoG3767 the otherG243 discipleG3101 who 11had firstG4413 comeG2064 to the tombG3419 thenG5119 alsoG2532 enteredG1525, and he sawG3708 and believedG4100.

9For as yetG3764 12they did not understandG3609 the ScriptureG1124, 13that He mustG1163 riseG450 againG450 from the deadG3498.
