Restoration Promised
1“So it shall be whenH3588 allH3605 of theseH428 thingsH1697 have comeH935 upon you, 1the blessingH1293 and the curseH7045 whichH834 I have setH5414 beforeH6440 you, and you 2callH7725 them to mindH3824 3in allH3605 nationsH1471 whereH834H8033 the LordH3068 your GodH430 has banishedH5080 you, 2and you 4returnH7725 to the LordH3068 your GodH430 and 5obeyH8085H6963 Him 6with allH3605 your heartH3824 and soulH5315 according to allH3605 that I commandH6680 you todayH3117, you and your sonsH1121, 3then the LordH3068 your GodH430 will 7restoreH7725 8you from captivityH7622, and haveH7355 compassionH7355 on you, and 9will gatherH6908 you againH7725 from allH3605 the peoplesH5971 whereH834H8033 the LordH3068 your GodH430 has 10scatteredH6327 you. 4IfH518 your outcastsH5080 are at the endsH7097 of the 11earthH8064, 12from thereH8033 the LordH3068 your GodH430 will gatherH6908 you, and from thereH8033 He will 13bringH3947 you back. 514The LordH3068 your GodH430 will bringH935 you into the landH776 whichH834 your fathersH1 possessedH3423, and you shall possessH3423 it; and He will prosperH3190 you and 15multiplyH7235 you moreH4480 thanH4480 your fathersH1.
6“Moreover 16the LordH3068 your GodH430 will circumciseH4135 your heartH3824 and the heartH3824 of your 17descendantsH2233, 18to loveH157 the LordH3068 your GodH430 with allH3605 your heartH3824 and with allH3605 your soulH5315, soH4616 that you may liveH2425. 719The LordH3068 your GodH430 will 20inflictH5414 allH3605 theseH428 cursesH423 on your enemiesH340 and on those who hateH8130 you, whoH834 persecutedH7291 you. 8And you shall againH7725 21obeyH8085H6963 the LordH3068, and observeH6213 allH3605 His commandmentsH4687 whichH834 I commandH6680 you todayH3117. 922Then the LordH3068 your GodH430 will 23prosperH3498 you abundantlyH3498 in allH3605 the workH4639 of your handH3027, in the 24offspringH6529 of your 25bodyH990 and in the 26offspringH6529 of your cattleH929 and in the 27produceH6529 of your groundH127, for 28the LordH3068 will againH7725 rejoiceH7797 overH5921 you for goodH2896, justH3512 as He rejoicedH7797 overH5921 your fathersH1; 1029ifH3588 you 30obeyH8085H6963 the LordH3068 your GodH430 to keepH8104 His commandmentsH4687 and His statutesH2708 which 31are writtenH3789 in thisH2088 bookH5612 of the lawH8451, 32ifH3588 you turnH7725 to the LordH3068 your GodH430 33with allH3605 your heartH3824 and soulH5315.
11“For thisH2088 commandmentH4687 whichH834 I commandH6680 you todayH3117 is not tooH4480 difficultH6381 for you, norH3808 is it 34out of reachH7350. 12It is not in heavenH8064, 35that you should sayH559, ‘36WhoH4310 will goH5927 up to heavenH8064 for us to getH3947 it for us and make us hearH8085 it, that we may observeH6213 it?’ 13NorH3808 is it beyondH4480H5676 the seaH3220, 37that you should sayH559, ‘WhoH4310 will crossH5674 the seaH3220 for us to getH3947 it for us and make us hearH8085 it, that we may observeH6213 it?’ 14But the wordH1697 is veryH3966 nearH7138 you, in your mouthH6310 and in your heartH3824, that you may observeH6213 it.
Choose Life
15“SeeH7200, 38I have setH5414 beforeH6440 you todayH3117 lifeH2425 and 39prosperityH2896, and deathH4194 and 40adversityH7451; 16in that I commandH6680 you todayH3117 41to loveH157 the LordH3068 your GodH430, to walkH1980 in His waysH1870 and to keepH8104 His commandmentsH4687 and His statutesH2708 and His judgmentsH4941, that you 42may liveH2421 and multiplyH7235, and that the LordH3068 your GodH430 may blessH1288 you in the landH776 whereH834H8033 you are enteringH935 to possessH3423 it. 17But ifH518 your heartH3824 turnsH6437 awayH6437 and you will not obeyH8085, but are drawnH5080 awayH5080 and worshipH7812 otherH312 godsH430 and serveH5647 them, 18I declareH5046 to you todayH3117 that 43you shall surelyH6 perishH6. You will not prolongH748 your daysH3117 in the landH127 whereH834H8033 you are crossingH5674 the JordanH3383 to enterH935 44and possessH3423 it. 1945I callH5749 heavenH8064 and earthH776 to witnessH5749 against you todayH3117, that I have setH5414 beforeH6440 you lifeH2425 and deathH4194, 46the blessingH1293 and the curseH7045. So chooseH977 lifeH2425 in orderH4616 that you may liveH2421, you and your 47descendantsH2233, 2048by lovingH157 the LordH3068 your GodH430, by obeyingH8085 His voiceH6963, and 49by holdingH1692 fastH1692 to Him; 50for 51thisH1931 is your lifeH2425 and the lengthH753 of your daysH3117, 52that you may liveH3427 in 53the landH127 whichH834 the LordH3068 sworeH7650 to your fathersH1, to AbrahamH85, IsaacH3327, and JacobH3290, to giveH5414 them.”
