Deuteronomy 30
Revised Version 1895
1And it shall comeH935 to passH935, when allH3605 theseH428 things are comeH935 uponH5921 thee, the blessingH1293 and the curseH7045, whichH834 I have setH5414 beforeH6440 thee, and thou shalt callH7725 them to mindH3824 among allH3605 the nationsH1471, whither the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 hath drivenH5080 thee, 2and shalt returnH7725 unto the LORDH3068 thy GodH430, and shalt obeyH8085 his voiceH6963 according to allH3605 that I commandH6680 thee this dayH3117, thou and thy childrenH1121, with allH3605 thine heartH3824, and with allH3605 thy soulH5315; 3that then the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 will turnH7725 thy captivityH7622, and have compassionH7355 upon thee, and will returnH7725 and gatherH6908 thee from allH3605 the peoplesH5971, whither the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 hath scatteredH6327 thee. 4IfH518 anyH1961 of thine outcastsH5080 be in the uttermost parts of heavenH8064, from thence will the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 gatherH6908 thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: 5and the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 will bringH935 thee intoH413 the landH776 whichH834 thy fathersH1 possessedH3423, and thou shalt possessH3423 it; and he will doH3190 thee goodH3190, and multiplyH7235 thee aboveH413 thy fathersH1. 6And the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 will circumciseH4135 thine heartH3824, and the heartH3824 of thy seedH2233, to loveH157 the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 with allH3605 thine heartH3824, and with allH3605 thy soulH5315, that thou mayest liveH2416. 7And the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 will putH5414 allH3605 theseH428 cursesH423 uponH5921 thine enemiesH341, and on them that hateH8130 thee, whichH834 persecutedH7291 thee. 8And thou shalt returnH7725 and obeyH8085 the voiceH6963 of the LORDH3068, and doH6213 allH3605 his commandmentsH4687 whichH834 I commandH6680 thee this dayH3117. 9And the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 will makeH7725 thee plenteous in allH3605 the workH4639 of thine handH3027, in the fruitH6529 of thy bodyH990, and in the fruitH6529 of thy cattleH929, and in the fruitH6529 of thy groundH127, for goodH2896: for the LORDH3068 will againH7725 rejoiceH7797 over thee for goodH2896, as he rejoicedH7797 over thy fathersH1: 10ifH3588 thou shalt obeyH8085 the voiceH6963 of the LORDH3068 thy GodH430, to keepH8104 his commandmentsH4687 and his statutesH2708 whichH2088 are writtenH3789 in this bookH5612 of the lawH8451; ifH3588 thou turnH7725 unto the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 with allH3605 thine heartH3824, and with allH3605 thy soulH5315. 11For this commandmentH4687 whichH834 I commandH6680 thee this dayH3117, it is notH3808 tooH4480 hardH6381 for thee, neitherH3808 is it farH7350 offH7350. 12It is notH3808 in heavenH8064, that thou shouldest sayH559, Who shall goH5927 upH5927 for usH559 to heavenH8064, and bringH5927 it unto usH559, and makeH6213 usH559 to hearH8085 it, that weH8085 may doH6213 it? 13NeitherH3808 is it beyondH5676 the seaH3220, that thou shouldest sayH559, Who shall goH5674 over the seaH3220 for usH413, and bringH3947 it unto usH413, and makeH6213 usH413 to hearH8085 it, that weH8085 may doH6213 it? 14But the wordH1697 is veryH3966 nigh unto thee, in thy mouthH6310, and in thy heartH3824, that thou mayest doH6213 it. 15SeeH7200, I have setH5414 beforeH6440 thee this dayH3117 lifeH3117 and goodH2896, and deathH4194 and evilH7451; 16in that I commandH6680 thee this dayH3117 to loveH157 the LORDH3068 thy GodH430, to walkH1870 in his waysH1870, and to keepH8104 his commandmentsH4687 and his statutesH2708 and his judgmentsH4941, that thou mayest liveH2421 and multiplyH7235, and that the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 may blessH1288 thee in the landH776 whither thou goest in to possessH3423 it. 17But ifH518 thine heartH3824 turnH6437 awayH5080, and thou wilt notH3808 hearH8085, but shalt be drawnH5080 awayH5080, and worshipH7812 otherH312 godsH430, and serveH5647 them; 18I denounceH5046 unto youH859 this dayH3117, that ye shall surelyH3588 perishH6; ye shall notH3808 prolongH748 your daysH3117 uponH5921 the landH127, whither thou passest over JordanH3383 to goH935 in to possessH3423 it. 19I call heavenH8064 and earthH776 to witness againstH6440 youH859 this dayH3117, that I have setH5414 beforeH6440 thee lifeH3117 and deathH4194, the blessingH1293 and the curseH7045: therefore chooseH977 lifeH3117, that thou mayest liveH2421, thou and thy seedH2233: 20to loveH157 the LORDH3068 thy GodH430, to obeyH8085 his voiceH6963, and to cleave unto him: for he is thy lifeH3117, and the lengthH753 of thy daysH3117: that thou mayest dwellH3427 in the landH127 whichH834 the LORDH3068 sware unto thy fathersH1, to AbrahamH85, to IsaacH3327, and to JacobH3290, to giveH5414 them.
