1 Peter 5:8-14
81Be of soberG3525 spirit, 2be on the alertG1127. Your adversaryG476, 3the devilG1228, prowlsG4043 aroundG4043 likeG5613 a roaringG5612 4lionG3023, seekingG2212 someoneG5100 to devourG2666. 956But resistG436 him, 7firmG4731 in your faithG4102, knowingG3609 that 8the sameG846 experiencesG3588 of sufferingG3804 are being accomplishedG2005 by your 9brethrenG81 who are in the worldG2889. 10After you have sufferedG3958 10for a littleG3641 whileG3641, the 11GodG2316 of allG3956 graceG5485, who 12calledG2564 you to His 13eternalG166 gloryG1391 in ChristG5547, will HimselfG846 14perfectG2675, 15confirmG4741, strengthenG4599 and establishG2311 you. 1116To Him be dominionG2904 foreverG165 and everG165. AmenG281.
12ThroughG1223 17SilvanusG4610, our faithfulG4103 brotherG80 18(for soG5613 I regardG3049 him), 19I have writtenG1125 to you brieflyG3641, exhortingG3870 and testifyingG1957 that thisG3778 is 20the trueG227 graceG5485 of GodG2316. 21StandG2476 firmG2476 in it! 13She who is in BabylonG897, chosenG4899 togetherG4899 with you, sendsG782 you greetingsG782, and so does my sonG5207, 22MarkG3138. 1423GreetG782 oneG240 anotherG240 with a kissG5370 of loveG26.
24PeaceG1515 be to you allG3956 whoG3588 are in ChristG5547.
