60ThereforeοὖνounG3767manyπολλοὶpolloiG4183of HisdisciplesμαθητῶνmathētōnG3101,when they heardἀκούσαντεςakousantesG191thissaidG3004, “Thisοὗτος·houtosG3778is a difficultσκληρόςsklērosG4642statementλόγοςlogosG3056;whoτίςtisG5101canδύναταιdunataiG1410listenἀκούειν;¶akoueinG191to it?”

61But JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424,consciousἐν ἑαυτῷen he'autōG3609 G1722 G1438that His disciplesμαθηταὶmathētaiG3101grumbledγογγύζουσινgonguzousinG1111at thisτούτουtoutouG3778,saidG3004to them,“Does thisτοῦτοtoutoG3778causeG4624you to stumbleG4624?

62WhatthenοὖνounG3767ifἐὰνeanG1437you seeθεωρῆτεtheōrēteG2334the SonυἱὸνhuionG5207of ManἀνθρώπουanthrōpouG444ascendingἀναβαίνονταanabainontaG305to whereὅπουhopouG3699He was beforeπρότερον;proteronG4387?

63It is the SpiritπνεῦμάpneumaG4151who givesG2227lifeζῳοποιοῦν,zōopoiounG2227;the fleshσὰρξsarxG4561profitsὠφελεῖōpheleiG5623nothingοὐδέν·oudenG3762;the wordsῥήματαrhēmataG4487that I have spokenλελάληκαlelalēkaG2980to you are spiritπνεῦμάpneumaG4151and are lifeζωήzōēG2222.

64But there aresomeτινεςtinesG5100of you whoοἳhoiG3739do not believeπιστεύουσιν.pisteuousinG4100.”For JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424knewG3609from the beginningἀρχῆςarchēsG746whoτίνεςtinesG5101they were who did not believeπιστεύοντεςpisteuontesG4100, andwhoτίςtisG5101it was that wouldbetrayπαραδώσωνparadōsōnG3860Him.

66As a resultG1537of thisτούτουtoutouG3778manyπολλοὶpolloiG4183of HisdisciplesμαθητῶνmathētōnG3101withdrewἀπῆλθον ὀπίσωapēlthon opisōG3694 G565and were not walkingπεριεπάτουν.¶periepatounG4043with Him anymoreG3765.
