3For a nationגּ֜וֹיGoyH1471has comeעָלָה֩'a.LahH5927up againstעָלֶ֨יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921her out of thenorthמִצָּפ֗וֹןmi.tza.FonH6828;it will makeיָשִׁ֤יתya.ShitH7896her landאַרְצָהּ֙'ar.TzahH776an objectH8047of horrorH8047, and there will benoוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808inhabitantיוֹשֵׁ֖בyo.ShevH3427in it. BothH4480manמֵאָדָ֥םme.'a.DamH120and beastבְּהֵמָ֖הbe.he.MahH929have wanderedנָ֥דוּNa.duH5110off, they have goneהָלָֽכוּ׃ha.La.khuH1980away!
4“In thoseH1992daysבַּיָּמִ֨יםbai.ya.MimH3117and at that timeוּבָעֵ֤תu.va.'EtH6256,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, “the sonsבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478will comeיָבֹ֧אוּya.Vo.'uH935, boththey and the sonsוּבְנֵֽי־u.ve.nei-H1121of Judahיְהוּדָ֖הye.hu.DahH3063as wellH3164;they will goהָל֤וֹךְha.LokhH1980alongweepingוּבָכוֹ֙u.va.KhoH1058as they goיֵלֵ֔כוּye.Le.khuH1980, and it will bethe Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430they will seekיְבַקֵּֽשׁוּ׃ye.va.Ke.shuH1245.
5They willaskיִשְׁאָ֔לוּyish.'A.luH7592for the wayדֶּ֖רֶךְDe.rekhH1870to Zionצִיּ֣וֹןtzi.YonH6726, turningtheir facesפְנֵיהֶ֑םfe.nei.HemH6440in its directionהֵ֣נָּהHe.nahH2008; theywill comeבֹּ֚אוּBo.'uH935that they may joinוְנִלְו֣וּve.nil.VuH3867themselves to the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068in aneverlastingעוֹלָ֖םo.LamH5769covenantבְּרִ֥יתbe.RitH1285that will not be forgottenתִשָּׁכֵֽחַ׃ סti.sha.Khe.achH7911.
6“My peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971have becomeהָי֣וּha.yahH1961lostאֹֽבְדוֹת֙'oe.dOtH6sheepצֹ֤אןtzonH6629;Their shepherdsרֹעֵיהֶ֣םro.'ei.HemH7462have ledH8582them astrayH8582.They have made them turnH7725asideH7725on themountainsהָרִ֖יםha.RimH2022;They have goneהָלָ֔כוּha.La.khuH1980along from mountainמֵהַ֤רme.HarH2022to hillגִּבְעָה֙giv.'AhH1389And have forgottenשָׁכְח֖וּsha.khe.ChuH7911theirrestingH7258placeרִבְצָֽם׃riv.TzamH7258.
7Allכָּל־kol-H3605who cameמוֹצְאֵיהֶ֣םmotz.'ei.HemH4672upon them have devouredאֲכָל֔וּם'a.kha.LumH398them;And their adversariesוְצָרֵיהֶ֥םve.tza.rei.HemH6862have saidאָמְר֖וּ'a.me.RuH559, ‘We are not guiltyנֶאְשָׁ֑םne'.ShamH816,Inasmuchתַּ֗חַת אֲשֶׁ֨רTa.chat 'a.SherH8478H834as they have sinnedחָטְא֤וּcha.te.'UH2398against the Lordלַֽיהוָה֙la.Yah.wehH3068who is thehabitationנְוֵה־ne.veh-H5116of righteousnessצֶ֔דֶקTze.dekH6664,Even the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068, thehopeוּמִקְוֵ֥הu.mik.VehH4723of their fathersאֲבֽוֹתֵיהֶ֖ם'a.vo.tei.HemH1.’

9For beholdהִנֵּ֣הhi.NehH2009, I am going toarouseמֵעִיר֩me.'IrH5782and bringוּמַעֲלֶ֨הu.ma.'a.LehH5927up againstעַל־'al-H5921Babylonבָּבֶ֜לba.VelH894A hordeקְהַל־ke.hal-H6951of greatגְּדֹלִים֙ge.do.LimH1419nationsגּוֹיִ֤םgo.YimH1471from the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of the northצָפ֔וֹןtza.FonH6828,And they will drawH6186up theirbattleH6186linesוְעָ֣רְכוּve.'A.re.khuH6186against her;From thereמִשָּׁ֖םmi.ShamH8033she will be takenH3920captiveH3920.Their arrowsחִצָּיו֙chi.TzavH2671will be likean expertמַשְׁכִּ֔ילmash.KilH7919warriorכְּגִבּ֣וֹרke.gi.BorH1368Who does not returnיָשׁ֖וּבya.ShuvH7725empty-handedרֵיקָֽם׃rei.KamH7387.
