Jeremiah 50:2-10
“1DeclareH5046 and proclaimH8085 among the nationsH1471. ProclaimH8085 it and 2liftH5375 up a standardH5251. Do not concealH3582 it but sayH559, ‘3BabylonH894 has been capturedH3920, 4BelH1078 has beenH954 putH954 to shameH954, 5MardukH4781 has beenH2865 6shatteredH2865; Her 7imagesH6091 have beenH954 putH954 to shameH954, her idolsH1544 have beenH2865 shatteredH2865.’ 3For a nationH1471 has comeH5927 up againstH5921 her out of the 8northH6828; it will makeH7896 her landH776 9an objectH8047 of horrorH8047, and there will be 10noH3808 inhabitantH3427 in it. BothH4480 manH120 and beastH929 have wanderedH5110 off, they have goneH1980 away!
“In thoseH1992 daysH3117 and at that timeH6256,” declaresH5002 the LordH3068, “the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 will comeH935, both they and the sonsH1121 of JudahH3063 11as wellH3164; they will goH1980 along 12weepingH1058 as they goH1980, and it will be 13the LordH3068 their GodH430 they will seekH1245. 5They will 14askH7592 for the wayH1870 to ZionH6726, turning their facesH6440 15in its directionH2008; 16they 17will comeH935 that they may joinH3867 themselves to the LordH3068 in an 18everlastingH5769 covenantH1285 that will not be forgottenH7911.
“My peopleH5971 have becomeH1961 19lostH6 sheepH6629; 20Their shepherdsH7462 have ledH8582 them astrayH8582. They have made them turnH7725 asideH7725 on the 21mountainsH2022; They have goneH1980 along from mountainH2022 to hillH1389 And have forgottenH7911 their 22restingH7258 placeH7258.7AllH3605 who cameH4672 upon them have devouredH398 them; And their adversariesH6862 have saidH559, ‘23We are not guiltyH816, InasmuchH8478H834 as they have sinnedH2398 against the LordH3068 who is the 24habitationH5116 of righteousnessH6664, Even the LordH3068, the 25hopeH4723 of their fathersH1.’
“WanderH5110 away from the 26midstH8432 of BabylonH894 And 27goH3318 forthH3318 from the landH776 of the ChaldeansH3778; Be also like maleH6260 goatsH6260 28at the headH6440 of the flockH6629.9For beholdH2009, I am going to 29arouseH5782 and bringH5927 up againstH5921 BabylonH894 A hordeH6951 of greatH1419 nationsH1471 from the landH776 of the northH6828, And they will drawH6186 up their battleH6186 linesH6186 against her; From thereH8033 she will be takenH3920 captiveH3920. Their arrowsH2671 will be like 30an expertH7919 warriorH1368 Who does not returnH7725 empty-handedH7387.103132ChaldeaH3778 will becomeH1961 plunderH7998; AllH3605 who plunderH7997 her will haveH7646 enoughH7646,” declaresH5002 the LordH3068.
