37NowδὲdeG1161when they heardἈκούσαντεςAkousantesG191this, they werepiercedκατενύγησανkatenugēsanG2660to the heartκαρδίαν,kardianG2588,and saidG3004to PeterΠέτρονPetronG4074and the restλοιποὺςloipousG3062of the apostlesἀποστόλους·apostolousG652, “Brethrenἄνδρες ἀδελφοί;andres adelphoiG435 G80,whatτίtiG5101shall we doποιήσωμεν,poiēsōmenG4160?”

38PeterΠέτροςPetrosG4074said to them, “RepentμετανοήσατεmetanoēsateG3340,and eachἕκαστοςhekastosG1538of you bebaptizedβαπτισθήτωbaptisthētōG907in the nameὀνόματιonomatiG3686of JesusἸησοῦIēsouG2424ChristΧριστοῦChristouG5547for the forgivenessἄφεσινaphesinG859of your sinsἁμαρτιῶνhamartiōnG266;and you will receiveλήμψεσθεlēmpsestheG2983the giftδωρεὰνdōreanG1431of the HolyἁγίουhagiouG40Spiritπνεύματος·pneumatosG4151.

39Forthe promiseἐπαγγελίαepangeliaG1860is for you and your childrenτέκνοιςteknoisG5043and for allπᾶσινpasinG3956whoG3588arefarG3112offG3112,as manyὅσουςhosousG3745as the LordκύριοςkuriosG2962our GodθεὸςtheosG2316will callπροσκαλέσηταιproskalesētaiG4341to Himself.”

40And with manyG4183otherἑτέροιςheteroisG2087wordsλόγοιςlogoisG3056he solemnlyG1263testifiedG1263and kept on exhortingπαρεκάλειparekaleiG3870them, sayingλέγων·legōnG3004, “Be savedσώθητεsōthēteG4982from thisταύτης.tautēsG3778perverseσκολιᾶςskoliasG4646generationγενεᾶςgeneasG1074!”

41SoG3767thenG3767,thoseG3588who had receivedἀποδεξάμενοιapodexamenoiG588his wordλόγονlogonG3056were baptizedἐβαπτίσθησανebaptisthēsanG907;and that dayἡμέρᾳhēmeraG2250there were addedπροσετέθησανprosetethēsanG4369aboutὡσεὶhōseiG5616threeG5153thousandG5153soulsψυχαὶpsuchaiG5590.

42They werecontinuallyG4342devotingG4342themselvesG4342to the apostles’ἀποστόλωνapostolōnG652teachingδιδαχῇdidachēaG1322and to fellowshipκοινωνίᾳ,koinōniaG2842, tothe breakingκλάσειklaseiG2800of breadἄρτουartouG740andto prayerπροσευχαῖς.proseuchaisG4335.

43EveryoneπάσῃpasēG3956kept feelingG1096a senseG5401of aweG5401;and manyπολλάpollaG4183wondersτέραταterataG5059andsignsσημεῖαsēmeiaG4592were takingG1096placeG1096throughδιὰdiaG1223the apostlesἀποστόλωνapostolōnG652.

44And allπάντεςpantesG3956thoseοἱhoiG3588who had believedπιστεύοντεςpisteuontesG4100were togetherἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸepi to autoG1909 G3588 G846andhadεἶχονeichonG2192allG537thingsἅπανταhapantaG537in commonκοινά,koinaG2839;

45and they begansellingἐπίπρασκονepipraskonG4097their propertyκτήματαktēmataG2933and possessionsὑπάρξειςhuparxeisG5223and were sharingδιεμέριζονdiemerizonG1266them with allπᾶσινpasinG3956,as anyoneτιςtisG5100might haveεἶχεν·eichenG2192needχρείανchreianG5532.
