Zechariah 3
Darby Bible
1And he shewed me JoshuaH3091 the high priestH3548 standingH5975 before the AngelH4397 of Jehovah, and Satan standingH5975 at his rightH3225 handH3225 to resist him. 2And Jehovah saidH559 unto Satan, Jehovah rebukeH1605 thee, O Satan! Yea, Jehovah that hath chosenH977 JerusalemH3389 rebukeH1605 thee! Is not this a brand plucked out of the fireH784? 3And JoshuaH3091 wasH1961 clothedH3847 with filthyH6674 garmentsH899, and stoodH5975 before the AngelH4397. 4And he spoke and saidH559 unto those that stoodH5975 before him, sayingH559, Take awayH5493 the filthyH6674 garmentsH899 from off him. And unto him he saidH559, SeeH7200, I have caused thine iniquityH5771 to passH5674 from thee, and I clotheH3847 thee with festival-robes. 5And I saidH559, Let them setH7760 a pureH2889 turbanH6797 upon his headH7218. And they setH7760 the pureH2889 turbanH6797 upon his headH7218, and clothedH3847 him with garmentsH899; and the AngelH4397 of Jehovah stoodH5975 by. 6And the AngelH4397 of Jehovah protested unto JoshuaH3091, sayingH559, 7ThusH3541 saith Jehovah of hostsH6635: If thou wilt walk in my waysH1870, and if thou wilt keepH8104 my chargeH4931, then thou shalt alsoH1571 judgeH1777 my houseH1004, and shalt alsoH1571 keepH8104 my courts; and I will giveH5414 thee a place to walk among these that standH5975 by. 8HearH8085 now, JoshuaH3091 the high priestH3548, thou and thy fellows that sitH3427 before thee — for they are menH376 of portent — for behold, I will bringH935 forth my servantH5650 the BranchH6780. 9For behold, the stoneH68 that I have laid before JoshuaH3091 — upon oneH259 stoneH68 are sevenH7651 eyesH5869; behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith Jehovah of hostsH6635, and I will removeH4185 the iniquityH5771 of this landH776 in oneH259 dayH3117. 10In that dayH3117, saith Jehovah of hostsH6635, shall ye invite every manH376 his neighbour under the vineH1612 and under the fig-tree.
