Darby Bible
Zechariah 1:8-17
I sawH7200 by nightH3915, and behold, a manH376 ridingH7392 upon a redH122 horseH5483, and he stoodH5975 among the myrtle-trees that were in the low valley; and behind him were redH122, bay, and whiteH3836 horsesH5483.
And I saidH559, My lordH113, what are these? And the angelH4397 that talked with me saidH559 unto me, I will shew thee what these are.
And the manH376 that stoodH5975 among the myrtle-trees answered and saidH559, These are they whom Jehovah hath sentH7971 to walkH1980 to and fro through the earthH776.
And they answered the angelH4397 of Jehovah that stoodH5975 among the myrtle-trees, and saidH559, We have walkedH1980 to and fro through the earthH776, and behold, all the earthH776 sitteth stillH5975 and is at rest.
And the angelH4397 of Jehovah answered and saidH559, Jehovah of hostsH6635, how long wilt thou not have mercyH7355 on JerusalemH3389 and on the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063, against which thou hast had indignation these seventyH7657 yearsH8141?
And Jehovah answeredH6030 the angelH4397 that talked with me goodH2896 wordsH1697, comfortingH5150 wordsH1697.
And the angelH4397 that talked with me saidH559 unto me, Cry, sayingH559, ThusH3541 saith Jehovah of hostsH6635: I am jealousH7065 for JerusalemH3389 and for ZionH6726 with a greatH1419 jealousyH7068,
and I am wroth exceedingly with the nationsH1471 that are at easeH7600; for I was but a littleH4592 wroth, and they helpedH5826 forward the affliction.
ThereforeH3651 thusH3541 saith Jehovah: I am returnedH7725 to JerusalemH3389 with mercies: my houseH1004 shall be builtH1129 in it, saith Jehovah of hostsH6635, and the line shall be stretchedH5186 forth upon JerusalemH3389.
Cry further, sayingH559, ThusH3541 saith Jehovah of hostsH6635: My citiesH5892 shall yetH5750 overflowH6327 with prosperity, and Jehovah shall yetH5750 comfortH5162 ZionH6726, and shall yetH5750 chooseH977 JerusalemH3389.
