Zechariah 1:8-17

8I sawH7200 at nightH3915, and beholdH2009, a manH376 was ridingH7392 on a 1redH122 horseH5483, and he was standingH5975 amongH996 the 2myrtleH1918 treesH1918 whichH834 were in the ravineH4699, with redH122, 3sorrelH8320, and 4whiteH3836 horsesH5483 behindH310 him. 9Then I saidH559, “WhatH4100 are theseH428, my 5lordH113?” And the 6angelH4397 who was speakingH1696 with me saidH559 to me, “I will showH7200 you whatH4100 theseH428 are.” 10And the manH376 who was standingH5975 amongH996 the myrtleH1918 treesH1918 respondedH6030 and saidH559, “TheseH428 are the ones whomH834 the LordH3068 has sentH7971 to 78patrolH1980 the earthH776.” 11So they respondedH6030 to the angelH4397 of the LordH3068 who was 9standingH5975 amongH996 the myrtleH1918 treesH1918 and saidH559, “We have 10patrolledH1980 the earthH776, and beholdH2009, 11allH3605 the earthH776 is 12stillH3427 and quietH8252.”

12Then the angelH4397 of the LordH3068 saidH559, “LordH3068 of armiesH6635, 13howH4970 longH5704H4970 will You 14takeH7355 noH3808 pityH7355 onH7355 JerusalemH3389 and the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063, with whichH834 You have beenH2194 15indignantH2194 for theseH2088 16seventyH7657 yearsH8141?” 13And the LordH3068 respondedH6030 to the 17angelH4397 who was speakingH1696 with me with 18graciousH2896 wordsH1697, 19comfortingH5150 wordsH1697. 14So the angelH4397 who was speakingH1696 with me saidH559 to me, “20ProclaimH7121, sayingH559, ‘ThisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 the LordH3068 of armiesH6635 saysH559: “I amH7065 21exceedinglyH1419 jealousH7065 for JerusalemH3389 and ZionH6726. 15But I amH7107 veryH1419H7110 22angryH7107 with the nationsH1471 who are 23carefreeH7600; for while I wasH7107 only a littleH4592 angryH7107, they 2425furtheredH5826 the disasterH7463.” 16ThereforeH3651 the LordH3068 saysH559 thisH3541: “I will 26returnH7725 to JerusalemH3389 with compassionH7356; My 27houseH1004 will be builtH1129 in it,” declaresH5002 the LordH3068 of armiesH6635, “and a measuringH6957 28lineH6957 will be stretchedH5186 overH5921 JerusalemH3389.”’ 17AgainH5750, proclaimH7121, sayingH559, ‘ThisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 the LordH3068 of armiesH6635 saysH559: “My 29citiesH5892 will againH5750 overflowH6327 with prosperityH2896, and the LordH3068 will againH5750 30comfortH5162 ZionH6726 and againH5750 31chooseH977 JerusalemH3389.”’”
