Micah 3

1And I saidH559, HearH8085, I pray you, ye headsH7218 of JacobH3290, and princes of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478: Is it not for you to knowH3045 judgmentH4941? 2Ye who hateH8130 the goodH2896, and loveH157 evilH7451; who pluck off their skinH5785 from them, and their fleshH7607 from off their bonesH6106; 3and who eatH398 the fleshH1320 of my peopleH5971, and flay their skinH5785 from off them, and breakH6476 their bonesH6106, and chop them in pieces as for the potH5518, and as fleshH1320 within the cauldron. 4ThenH227 shall they cryH2199 unto Jehovah, but he will not answerH6030 them; and he will hideH5641 his faceH6440 from them at that timeH6256, according as they have wrought evilH7489 in their doings. 5ThusH3541 saith Jehovah concerning the prophetsH5030 that cause my peopleH5971 to errH8582, that bite with their teethH8127, and cry, PeaceH7965! but whoso putteth not into their mouthsH6310 they prepare warH4421 against him: 6thereforeH3651 ye shall have nightH3915 without a visionH2377; and it shall be darkH2821 unto you, without divination; and the sunH8121 shall goH935 down upon the prophetsH5030, and the dayH3117 shall be black over them. 7And the seersH2374 shall be ashamedH954, and the divinersH7080 confounded; and they shall all coverH5844 their lips, for there will be no answerH4617 of 1GodH430. 8But truly I am filledH4390 with power by the SpiritH7307 of Jehovah, and with judgmentH4941 and with might, to declareH5046 unto JacobH3290 his transgressionH6588, and to IsraelH3478 his sinH2403. 9HearH8085 this, I pray you, ye headsH7218 of the houseH1004 of JacobH3290, and princes of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, that abhorH8581 judgmentH4941, and pervert all equity, 10that buildH1129 up ZionH6726 with bloodH1818, and JerusalemH3389 with unrighteousnessH5766. 11The headsH7218 thereof judgeH8199 for reward, and the priestsH3548 thereof teachH3384 for hire, and the prophetsH5030 thereof divineH7080 for moneyH3701; yet do they leanH8172 upon Jehovah, and sayH559, Is not Jehovah in the midstH7130 of us? no evilH7451 shall comeH935 upon us. 12ThereforeH3651 shall ZionH6726 for your sake beH1961 ploughed [as] a fieldH7704, and JerusalemH3389 shall becomeH1961 heaps, and the mountainH2022 of the houseH1004 as the highH1116 placesH1116 of a forestH3293.
