Micah 4
Darby Bible
1But it shall come to pass in the endH319 of daysH3117 [that] the mountainH2022 of Jehovah's houseH1004 shall beH1961 establishedH3559 on the topH7218 of the mountainsH2022, and shall beH1961 liftedH5375 up above the hillsH1389; and the peoplesH5971 shall flow unto it. 2And manyH7227 nationsH1471 shall goH1980 and sayH559, ComeH1980, and let us goH1980 up to the mountainH2022 of Jehovah, and to the houseH1004 of the 1GodH430 of JacobH3290; and he will teachH3384 us of his waysH1870, and we will walkH1980 in his pathsH734. For out of ZionH6726 shall goH1980 forthH3318 the lawH8451, and Jehovah's wordH1697 from JerusalemH3389. 3And he shall judgeH8199 among manyH7227 peoplesH5971, and reproveH3198 strong nationsH1471, even afarH7350 off; and they shall forge their swordsH2719 into ploughshares, and their spearsH2595 into pruning-knives: nationH1471 shall not liftH5375 up swordH2719 against nationH1471, neither shall they learnH3925 warH4421 any more. 4And they shall sitH3427 every oneH376 under his vineH1612, and under his fig-tree; and there shall be none to make [them] afraid: for the mouthH6310 of Jehovah of hostsH6635 hath spokenH1696 [it]. 5For all the peoplesH5971 will walk every oneH376 in the nameH8034 of his 2godH430; but we will walk in the nameH8034 of Jehovah, our 3GodH430 for everH5703 and everH5703. 6In that dayH3117, saith Jehovah, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gatherH6908 her that is drivenH5080 out, and her that I have afflicted; 7and I will makeH7760 her that halted a remnantH7611, and her that was cast far off a strong nationH1471; and Jehovah shall reignH4427 over them in mount ZionH6726, from henceforth even for everH5769. 8And thou, O towerH4026 of the flockH5739, hillH6076 of the daughterH1323 of ZionH6726, unto thee shall it comeH935, yea, the firstH7223 dominionH4475 shall comeH935, — the kingdomH4467 to the daughterH1323 of JerusalemH3389. 9NowH6258 whyH4100 dost thou cryH7321 out aloud? Is there no kingH4428 in thee? is thy counsellor perishedH6, that pangs have seized thee as a woman in travail? 10Be in pain, and labour to bringH935 forthH3318, O daughterH1323 of ZionH6726, like a woman in travail; for nowH6258 shalt thou goH3318 forthH3318 out of the city, and thou shalt dwellH7931 in the fieldH7704, and thou shalt goH3318 even to BabylonH894: there shalt thou be deliveredH5337; there Jehovah will redeemH1350 thee from the handH3709 of thine enemiesH341. 11And nowH6258 manyH7227 nationsH1471 are assembled against thee, that sayH559, Let her be profaned, and let our eyeH5869 look upon ZionH6726. 12But they knowH3045 not the thoughtsH4284 of Jehovah, neither understandH995 they his counselH6098; for he hath gatheredH6908 them togetherH6908 as the sheaves into the threshing-floor. 13AriseH6965 and threshH1758, daughterH1323 of ZionH6726, for I will makeH7760 thy hornH7161 ironH1270, and I will makeH7760 thy hoofsH6541 brass; and thou shalt beat in pieces manyH7227 peoplesH5971; and I will devote their gainH1215 to Jehovah, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earthH776.
