Micah 3

1And I saidH559, HearH8085, I pray you, ye headsH7218 of JacobH3290, and rulersH7101 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478: is it not for you to knowH3045 justiceH4941? 2ye who hateH8130 the goodH2896, and loveH157 the evilH7451; who pluck off their skinH5785 from off them, and their fleshH7607 from off their bonesH6106; 3who also eatH398 the fleshH1320 of my peopleH5971, and flay their skinH5785 from off them, and breakH6476 their bonesH6106, and chop them in pieces, as for the potH5518, and as fleshH1320 within the caldronH7037. 4ThenH227 shall they cryH2199 unto Jehovah, but he will not answerH6030 them; yea, he will hideH5641 his faceH6440 from them at that timeH6256, according as they have wrought evilH7489 in their doings.

5ThusH3541 saith Jehovah concerning the prophetsH5030 that makeH5414 my peopleH5971 to errH8582; that bite with their teethH8127, and cry, PeaceH7965; and whoso putteth not into their mouthsH6310, they even prepare warH4421 against him: 6ThereforeH3651 it shall be nightH3915 unto you, that ye shall have no visionH2377; and it shall be darkH2821 unto you, that ye shall not divineH7080; and the sunH8121 shall goH935 down upon the prophetsH5030, and the dayH3117 shall be black over them. 7And the seersH2374 shall be putH954 to shameH954, and the divinersH7080 confounded; yea, they shall all coverH5844 their lips; for there is no answerH4617 of GodH430. 8But as for me, I am fullH4390 of power by the SpiritH7307 of Jehovah, and of judgmentH4941, and of might, to declareH5046 unto JacobH3290 his transgressionH6588, and to IsraelH3478 his sinH2403.

9HearH8085 this, I pray you, ye headsH7218 of the houseH1004 of JacobH3290, and rulersH7101 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, that abhorH8581 justiceH4941, and pervert all equity. 10They buildH1129 up ZionH6726 with bloodH1818, and JerusalemH3389 with iniquity. 11The headsH7218 thereof judgeH8199 for reward, and the priestsH3548 thereof teachH3384 for hire, and the prophetsH5030 thereof divineH7080 for moneyH3701: yet they leanH8172 upon Jehovah, and sayH559, Is not Jehovah in the midstH7130 of us? no evilH7451 shall comeH935 upon us. 12ThereforeH3651 shall ZionH6726 for your sake beH1961 plowedH2790 as a fieldH7704, and JerusalemH3389 shall becomeH1961 heaps, and the mountainH2022 of the houseH1004 as the highH1116 placesH1116 of a forestH3293.
