Hebrews 6:13-18
For 1GodG2316, having promisedG1861 to AbrahamG11, since he had no greaterG3173 to swearG3660 by, sworeG3660 by himself,
sayingG3004, Surely blessingG2127 I will blessG2127 thee, and multiplyingG4129 I will multiplyG4129 thee;
and thusG3779, having had long patienceG3114, he got the promiseG1860.
For menG444 indeed swearG3660 by a greaterG3173, and with them the oathG3727 is a term to all dispute, as making matters sure.
Wherein 2GodG2316, willingG1014 to shew more abundantly to the heirsG2818 of the promiseG1860 the unchangeableness of his purposeG1012, intervened by an oathG3727,
that by twoG1417 unchangeable thingsG3739, in which [it was] impossibleG102 that 3GodG2316 should lieG5574, we might have a strongG2478 encouragementG3874, who have fled for refuge to lay holdG2902 on the hopeG1680 setG4295 before us,
