Jeremiah 48:16-25 16 The calamity H343 of Moab מוֹאָ֖ב mo.'Av H4124 is near to come H935 , and his affliction hasteth fast. 17 All ye that are about him , bemoan him ; and all ye that know יֹדְעֵ֣י yo.de.'Ei H3045 his name שְׁמ֑וֹ she.Mo H8034 , say אִמְר֗וּ 'im.Ru H559 , How אֵיכָ֤ה 'ei.Khah H349 is the strong staff מַטֵּה־ ma.teh- H4294 broken H7665 , the beautiful rod H4294 ! 18 Come עָ֣לָה 'A.lah H5927 down from [thy] glory H3519 and sit H3427 in the drought, O inhabitress, daughter בַּת־ bat- H1323 of Dibon דִּיב֑וֹן di.Von H1769 ; the spoiler of Moab מוֹאָב֙ mo.'Av H4124 is come H5927 up against thee, thy strongholds מִבְצָרָֽיִךְ׃ miv.tza.Ra.yikh H4013 hath he destroyed H7843 . 19 Stand עִמְדִ֥י 'im.Di H5975 by the way H1870 , and watch וְצַפִּ֖י ve.tza.Pi H6822 , inhabitress of Aroer עֲרוֹעֵ֑ר a.ro.'Er H6177 ; ask שַׁאֲלִי־ sha.'a.li- H7592 him that fleeth, and her that escapeth; say אִמְרִ֖י 'im.Ri H559 , What is done ? 20 Moab מוֹאָ֛ב mo.'Av H4124 is put to shame; for he is broken down : howl and cry וּֽזְעָ֑קוּ u.ze.'a.ki H2199 ; tell H5046 it in Arnon בְאַרְנ֔וֹן ve.'ar.Non H769 , that Moab מוֹאָֽב׃ mo.'Av H4124 is laid waste . 21 And judgment וּמִשְׁפָּ֥ט u.mish.Pat H4941 is come בָּ֖א ba' H935 upon the country of the plateau ; upon Holon חֹל֥וֹן cho.Lon H2473 , and upon Jahzah , and upon Mephaath מֵיפָֽעַת׃ mo.fa.'at H4158 ; 22 and upon Dibon דִּיב֣וֹן di.Von H1769 , and upon Nebo נְב֔וֹ ne.Vo H5015 , and upon Beth-diblathaim ; 23 and upon Kirjathaim, and upon Beth-gamul , and upon Beth-meon ; 24 and upon Kerijoth, and upon Bozrah בָּצְרָ֑ה botz.rah H1224 , and upon all the cities עָרֵי֙ 'a.Rei H5892 of the land אֶ֣רֶץ 'E.retz H776 of Moab מוֹאָ֔ב mo.'Av H4124 , far הָרְחֹק֖וֹת ha.re.cho.Kot H7350 and near . 25 The horn קֶ֣רֶן Ke.ren H7161 of Moab מוֹאָ֔ב mo.'Av H4124 is cut נִגְדְּעָה֙ nig.de.'Ah H1438 off , and his arm וּזְרֹע֖וֹ u.ze.ro.'O H2220 is broken H7665 , saith Jehovah .
