4So MosesH4872 didH6213 asH834 the LORDH3068 had commanded himH6680, and the assemblyH5712 gatheredH6950 atH413 the entranceH6607 to the TentH168 of MeetingH4150. 5And MosesH4872 saidH559 to themH413H5712, “ThisH2088H1697 is whatH834 the LORDH3068 has commandedH6680 to be doneH6213.”

6Then MosesH4872 presentedH7126 AaronH175 and his sonsH1121 and washedH7364 themH853 with waterH4325. 7He putH5414 the tunicH3801 on AaronH5921, tied the sashH73 around himH2296, clothedH3847 himH853 with the robeH4598, and putH5414 the ephodH646 on himH5921. He tied the woven bandH2805 of the ephodH646 aroundH2296 himH853 and fastened itH640 to him. 8Then he putH7760 the breastpieceH2833 onH5921 himH853 and placedH5414 the UrimH224 and ThummimH85501 inH413 the breastpieceH2833. 9Moses also putH7760 the turbanH4701 onH5921 Aaron’s headH7218 and setH7760H5921 the goldH2091 plateH6731, the holyH6944 diademH5145, onH413 the frontH4136H6440 of the turbanH4701, asH834 the LORDH3068 had commandedH6680 him.

10Next, MosesH4872 tookH3947 the anointingH4888 oilH8081 and anointedH4886 the tabernacleH4908 and everythingH3605 in it; and so he consecratedH6942 themH853. 11He sprinkledH5137 some ofH4480 the oil onH5921 the altarH4196 sevenH7651 timesH6471, anointingH4886 the altarH4196 and allH3605 its utensilsH3627, and the basinH3595 with its standH3653, to consecrate themH6942.

12He also pouredH3332 some of the anointingH4888 oilH8081 onH5921 Aaron’sH175 headH7218 and anointedH4886 himH853 to consecrate himH6942. 13Then MosesH4872 presentedH7126 Aaron’sH175 sonsH1121, putH3847 tunics on themH3801, wrapped sashesH73 around themH2296, and tiedH2280 headbandsH4021 on them, just asH834 the LORDH3068 had commandedH6680 him.

The Priests’ Sin Offering

14Moses then brought the bullH6499 nearH5066 for the sin offeringH2403, and AaronH175 and his sonsH1121 laidH5564 their handsH3027 onH5921 its headH7218. 15MosesH4872 slaughteredH7819 the bull, tookH3947 some of the bloodH1818, and appliedH5414 it with his fingerH676 toH5921 allH5439 four hornsH7161 of the altarH4196, purifyingH2398 the altarH4196. He poured outH3332 the rest of the bloodH1818 atH413 the baseH3247 of the altarH4196 and consecrated itH6942 so that atonement could be madeH3722 on itH5921.

16Moses alsoH4872 tookH3947 allH3605 the fatH2459 thatH834 was onH5921 the entrailsH7130, the lobeH3508 of the liverH3516, and bothH8147 kidneysH3629 andH853 their fatH2459, and burnedH6999 it all on the altarH4196. 17ButH853 the bullH6499 with its hideH5785, fleshH1320, and dungH6569 he burnedH8313H784 outsideH2351 the campH4264, asH834 the LORDH3068 had commandedH6680 him.

The Priests’ Burnt Offering

18Then Moses presentedH7126 the ramH352 for the burnt offeringH5930, and AaronH175 and his sonsH1121 laidH5564 their handsH3027 onH5921 its headH7218. 19MosesH4872 slaughteredH7819 the ram and splatteredH2236 the bloodH1818 on all sidesH5439 ofH5921 the altarH4196. 20He cutH5408 the ramH352 into piecesH5409 and burnedH6999 the headH7218, the piecesH5409, and the fatH6309. 21He washedH7364 the entrailsH7130 and legsH3767 with waterH4325 and burnedH6999 the entireH3605 ramH352 on the altarH4196 as a burnt offeringH5930, a pleasingH5207 aromaH7381, a food offeringH801H1931 to the LORDH3068, just asH834 the LORDH3068 had commandedH6680 MosesH4872.

The Ram of Ordination

(Exodus 29:10–30)

22After that, Moses presentedH7126 the otherH8145 ramH352, the ramH352 of ordinationH4394, and AaronH175 and his sonsH1121 laidH5564 their handsH3027 onH5921 its headH7218. 23MosesH4872 slaughteredH7819 the ram and tookH3947 some of its bloodH1818 and putH5414 it onH5921 Aaron’sH175 rightH3233 earlobeH8571H241, onH5921 the thumbH931 of his rightH3233 handH3027, and onH5921 the big toeH931 of his rightH3233 footH7272. 24MosesH4872 also presentedH7126 Aaron’sH175 sonsH1121 and putH5414 some ofH4480 the bloodH1818 onH5921 their rightH3233 earlobesH8571H241, onH5921 the thumbsH931 of their rightH3233 handsH3027, and onH5921 the big toesH931 of their rightH3233 feetH7272. ThenH4872 he splatteredH2236 the bloodH1818 on all sidesH5439 ofH5921 the altarH4196.

25And Moses tookH3947 the fatH2459—the fat tailH451, allH3605 the fatH2459 thatH834 was onH5921 the entrailsH7130, the lobeH3508 of the liverH3516, and bothH8147 kidneysH3629 with theirH853 fatH2459—as well as the rightH3225 thighH7785. 26And from the basketH5536 of unleavened breadH4682 thatH834 was beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, he tookH3947 oneH259 cakeH2471 of unleavened breadH4682, oneH259 cakeH2471 of breadH3899 made with oilH8081, and oneH259 waferH7550, and he placed themH7760 onH5921 the fat portionsH2459 and onH5921 the rightH3225 thighH7785. 27He putH5414 allH3605 these inH5921 the handsH3709 of AaronH175H5921H3709 and his sonsH1121 and wavedH5130 themH853 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068 as a wave offeringH8573.

28Then MosesH4872 took theseH3947 fromH5921 their handsH3709 and burned themH6999 on the altarH4196 withH5921 the burnt offeringH5930. ThisH1992 was an ordination offeringH4394, a pleasingH5207 aromaH7381, a food offeringH801H1931 to the LORDH3068. 29He alsoH4872 tookH3947 the breastH2373—MosesH4872’ portionH4490 of the ramH352 of ordinationH4394—and wavedH5130 it beforeH6440 the LORDH3068 as a wave offeringH8573, asH834 the LORDH3068 had commandedH6680 himH4872.

30Next, MosesH4872 tookH3947 some ofH4480 the anointingH4888 oilH8081 and some of the bloodH1818 thatH834 was onH5921 the altarH4196 and sprinkled themH5137 onH5921 AaronH175 and his garmentsH899, and onH5921 his sonsH1121H5921 and theirH1121H854 garmentsH899. So he consecratedH6942 AaronH175 and his garmentsH899, as well as Aaron’s sonsH1121 and theirH1121H854 garmentsH899.

31And MosesH4872 saidH559 toH413 AaronH175H413 and his sonsH1121, “BoilH1310 the meatH1320 at the entranceH6607 to the TentH168 of MeetingH4150 and eatH398 itH853 thereH8033 with the breadH3899 thatH834 is in the basketH5536 of ordination offeringsH4394, asH834 I commandedH6680, sayingH559, ‘AaronH175 and his sonsH1121 are to eat itH398.’ 32Then you must burn upH784H8313 the remainderH3498 of the meatH1320 and breadH3899.

33You must notH3808 go outsideH3318 the entranceH6607 to the TentH168 of MeetingH4150 for sevenH7651 daysH3117, untilH5704 the daysH3117 of your ordinationH4394 are completeH4390; forH3588 it will take sevenH7651 daysH3117 to ordainH4390 youH3027. 34WhatH834 has been doneH6213 todayH3117 has been commandedH6680 by the LORDH3068H6213 in order to make atonementH3722 on your behalfH5921. 35You must remainH3427 at the entranceH6607 to the TentH168 of MeetingH4150 dayH3119 and nightH3915 for sevenH7651 daysH3117 and keepH8104 the LORD’sH3068 chargeH4931 so that you will notH3808 dieH4191, forH3588 this is whatH3651 I have been commandedH6680.”

36So AaronH175 and his sonsH1121 didH6213 everythingH3605H1697 the LORDH3068 had commandedH6680 throughH3027 MosesH4872.
