3IfH518 the anointedH4899 priestH3548 sinsH2398, bringing guiltH819 on the peopleH5971, he must bringH7126 to the LORDH3068 a young bullH6499 without blemishH8549H1121H1241 asH5921 a sin offeringH24031 for the sinH2403 he has committedH2398. 4He must bringH935 the bullH6499 toH413 the entranceH6607 to the TentH168 of MeetingH4150 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, layH5564 his handH3027 onH5921 the bull’sH6499 headH7218, and slaughterH7819 itH6499 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068. 5Then the anointedH4899 priestH3548 shall takeH3947 some of the bull’sH6499 bloodH1818 and bringH935 itH853 intoH413 the TentH168 of MeetingH4150. 6The priestH3548 is to dipH2881 his fingerH676 in the bloodH1818 and sprinkleH5137 some ofH4480 itH1818 sevenH7651 timesH6471 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068H854, in front ofH6440 the veilH6532 of the sanctuaryH6944. 7The priestH3548 must then putH5414 some ofH4480 the bloodH1818 onH5921 the hornsH7161 of the altarH4196 of fragrantH5561 incenseH7004 that is beforeH6440 the LORDH3068 in the TentH168 of MeetingH4150. AndH853 he is to pour outH8210 the restH3605 of the bull’sH6499 bloodH1818 atH413 the baseH3247 of the altarH4196 of burnt offeringH5930 at the entranceH6607 to the TentH168 of MeetingH4150. 8ThenH853 he shall removeH7311 allH3605 the fatH2459 fromH4480 the bullH6499 of the sin offeringH2403—the fatH2459 that coversH3680 the entrailsH7130, allH3605 the fatH2459 thatH834 is onH5921 them, 9bothH8147 kidneysH3629 with the fatH2459 on themH5921 nearH5921 the loinsH3689, andH853 the lobeH3508 ofH5921 the liverH3516, which he is to removeH5493 withH5921 the kidneysH3629— 10just asH834 the fat is removedH7311 from the oxH7794 of the peace offeringH2077H8002. Then the priestH3548 shall burn themH6999 onH5921 the altarH4196 of burnt offeringH5930. 11But the hideH5785 of the bullH6499 and allH3605 its fleshH1320, withH5921 its headH7218H5921 and legsH3767 and its entrailsH7130 and dungH6569— 12allH3605 the rest of the bullH6499—he must takeH3318 outsideH2351 the campH4264 toH413 a ceremonially cleanH2889H413 placeH4725 whereH413 the ashesH1880 are poured outH8211, and there he must burnH8313 it onH5921 a woodH6086 fireH784 onH5921 the ashH1880 heapH8211.

13Now ifH518 the wholeH3605 congregationH5712 of IsraelH3478 strays unintentionallyH7686 and the matterH1697 escapesH5956 the noticeH5869 of the assemblyH6951 so that they violateH6213 anyH259H3605 of the LORD’sH3068 commandmentsH4687 and incur guiltH816 by doing whatH834 is forbiddenH3808H6213, 14when they become awareH3045 of the sinH2403 they have committedH2398H5921, then the assemblyH6951H6499 must bringH7126 a youngH1121 bullH1241 as a sin offeringH2403 and presentH935 itH853 beforeH6440 the TentH168 of MeetingH4150. 15The eldersH2205 of the congregationH5712 are to layH5564 their handsH3027 onH5921 the bull’sH6499 headH7218 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, and itH6499 shall be slaughteredH7819 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068. 16Then the anointedH4899 priestH3548 is to bringH935 some of the bull’sH6499 bloodH1818 intoH413 the TentH168 of MeetingH4150, 17andH3548 he is to dipH2881 his fingerH676 inH4480 the bloodH1818 and sprinkleH5137 it sevenH7651 timesH6471 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068H854 in frontH6440 of the veilH6532. 18He is also to putH5414 some ofH4480 the bloodH1818 onH5921 the hornsH7161 of the altarH4196 thatH834 is beforeH6440 the LORDH3068 in the TentH168 of MeetingH4150, andH853 he must pour outH8210 the restH3605 of the bloodH1818 atH413 the baseH3247 of the altarH4196 of burnt offeringH5930 at the entranceH6607 to the TentH168 of MeetingH4150. 19AndH853 he is to removeH7311 allH3605 the fatH2459 from itH4480 and burnH6999 it on the altarH4196. 20He shall offerH6213 this bullH6499 just asH834 he didH6213 the bullH6499 for the sin offeringH2403; in this wayH3651 the priestH3548 will make atonementH3722 on their behalfH5921, and they will be forgivenH5545. 21Then he is to takeH3318 the bullH6499 outsideH413H2351 the campH4264 and burnH8313 itH853, just asH834 he burnedH8313 the firstH7223 bullH6499. ItH1931 is the sin offeringH2403 for the assemblyH6951.

22WhenH834 a leaderH5387 sinsH2398 unintentionallyH7684 and doesH6213 whatH834 is prohibitedH3808 by anyH259 ofH3605 the commandmentsH4687 of the LORDH3068 his GodH430H6213, he incurs guiltH816. 23When he becomes awareH3045H413 of the sinH2403 he has committedH2398, he must bringH935 an unblemishedH8549 male goatH8163H5795H2145 as his offeringH7133. 24He is to layH5564 his handH3027 onH5921 the headH7218 of the goatH8163 and slaughterH7819 it at the placeH4725 whereH834 the burnt offeringH5930 is slaughteredH7819 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068. ItH1931 is a sin offeringH2403. 25Then the priestH3548 is to takeH3947 some of the bloodH1818 of the sin offeringH2403 with his fingerH676, put itH5414 onH5921 the hornsH7161 of the altarH4196 of burnt offeringH5930, andH853 pour outH8210 the rest of the bloodH1818 atH413 the baseH3247 of the altarH4196. 26He must burnH6999 allH3605 its fatH2459 on the altarH4196, like the fatH2459 of the peace offeringsH2077H8002; thus the priestH3548 will make atonementH3722 forH5921 that man’s sinH2403, and he will be forgivenH5545.

27And ifH518 oneH5315H259 of the commonH776 peopleH5971 sinsH2398 unintentionallyH7684 and does whatH834 is prohibitedH3808H6213 by anyH259 of the LORD’sH3068 commandmentsH4687, he incurs guiltH816. 28When he becomes awareH3045H413 of the sinH2403 he has committedH2398, he must bringH935 an unblemishedH8549 femaleH5347 goatH8166H5795 as his offeringH7133 forH5921 that sinH2403H834H2398. 29He is to layH5564 his handH3027 onH5921 the headH7218 of the sin offeringH2403 and slaughterH7819 itH2403 at the placeH4725 of the burnt offeringH5930. 30Then the priestH3548 is to takeH3947 some of its bloodH1818 with his fingerH676, put itH5414 onH5921 the hornsH7161 of the altarH4196 of burnt offeringH5930, andH853 pour outH8210 the restH3605 of the bloodH1818 atH413 the baseH3247 of the altarH4196. 31ThenH853 he is to removeH5493 allH3605 the fatH2459, just asH834 it is removedH5493 fromH5921 the peace offeringH2077H8002, and the priestH3548 is to burnH6999 it on the altarH4196 as a pleasingH5207 aromaH7381 to the LORDH3068. In this way the priestH3548 will make atonementH3722 for himH5921, and he will be forgivenH5545.

32If, howeverH518, he bringsH935 a lambH3532 as a sin offeringH2403, he must bringH935 an unblemishedH8549 femaleH5347. 33And he is to layH5564 his handH3027 onH5921 the headH7218 of the sin offeringH2403 and slaughterH7819 itH853 as a sin offeringH2403 at the placeH4725 whereH834 the burnt offeringH5930 is slaughteredH7819. 34Then the priestH3548 is to takeH3947 some of the bloodH1818 of the sin offeringH2403 with his fingerH676, put itH5414 onH5921 the hornsH7161 of the altarH4196 of burnt offeringH5930, andH853 pour outH8210 the restH3605 of its bloodH1818 atH413 the baseH3247 of the altarH4196. 35AndH853 he shall removeH5493 allH3605 the fatH2459, just asH834 the fatH2459 of the lambH3775 is removedH5493 from the peace offeringsH2077H8002, andH3548 he shall burnH6999 it on the altarH4196 along withH5921 the food offeringsH801 to the LORDH3068. In this way the priestH3548 will make atonementH3722 for himH5921 forH5921 the sinH2403 he has committedH2398, and he will be forgivenH5545.
