16Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֣ר׀'el.'a.ZarH499sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Aaronאַהֲרֹ֣ן'a.ha.RonH175the priestהַכֹּהֵ֗ןha.ko.HenH3548shall overseeוּפְקֻדַּ֞תu.fe.ku.DatH6486the oilשֶׁ֤מֶןShe.menH8081for the lightהַמָּאוֹר֙ha.ma.'OrH3974,the fragrantהַסַּמִּ֔יםha.sa.MimH5561incenseוּקְטֹ֣רֶתu.ke.To.retH7004,the dailyהַתָּמִ֖ידha.ta.MidH8548grain offeringוּמִנְחַ֥תu.min.ChatH4503,and the anointingהַמִּשְׁחָ֑הha.mish.ChahH4888oilוְשֶׁ֣מֶןve.She.menH8081.He has oversightפְּקֻדַּ֗תpe.ku.DatH6486of the entireכָּל־kol-H3605tabernacleהַמִּשְׁכָּן֙ha.mish.KanH4908and everythingוְכָל־ve.kholH3605אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834in it,including the holy objectsבְּקֹ֖דֶשׁbe.Ko.deshH6944and their utensilsוּבְכֵלָֽיו׃ סu.ve.khe.LavH3627.”

17Then the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saidוַיְדַבֵּ֣רvay.da.BerH1696toאֶל־'el-H413Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥ה וְאֶֽל־mo.Sheh ve.'el-H4872 H413and Aaronאַהֲרֹ֖ן לֵאמֹֽר׃'a.ha.Ron le.MorH175 H559,

18“Do notאַל־'al-H408allow the Kohathiteהַקְּהָתִ֑יha.ke.ha.TiH6956tribalשֵׁ֖בֶטShe.vetH7626clansמִשְׁפְּחֹ֣תmish.pe.ChotH4940to be cut offתַּכְרִ֕יתוּtakh.Ri.tuH3772אֶת־'et-H853from amongמִתּ֖וֹךְmi.TokhH8432the Levitesהַלְוִיִּֽם׃hal.vi.YimH3881.

19In order that they may liveוְחָיוּ֙ve.cha.YuH2421and notוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808dieיָמֻ֔תוּya.Mu.tuH4191when they come nearבְּגִשְׁתָּ֖םbe.gish.TamH5066אֶת־'et-H853the mostקֹ֣דֶשׁKo.deshH6944holy thingsהַקֳּדָשִׁ֑יםha.ko.da.ShimH6944,doעֲשׂ֣וּ'a.SuH6213thisוְזֹ֣את׀ve.ZotH2063for them:Aaronאַהֲרֹ֤ן'a.ha.RonH175and his sonsוּבָנָיו֙u.va.NavH1121are to go inיָבֹ֔אוּya.Vo.'uH935and assignוְשָׂמ֣וּve.sa.MuH7760אוֹתָ֗ם'o.TamH853each manעַל־'al-H376 H5921his taskעֲבֹדָת֖וֹ וְאֶל־a.vo.da.To ve.'el-H5656 H413and what he is to carryמַשָּׂאֽוֹ׃ma.sa.'OH4853.

20But the Kohathites are notוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808to go inיָבֹ֧אוּya.Vo.'uH935and lookלִרְא֛וֹתlir.'otH7200at the holy objectsהַקֹּ֖דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944,even for a momentכְּבַלַּ֥עke.va.La'H1104אֶת־'et-H853,or they will dieוָמֵֽתוּ׃ פva.Me.tuH4191.”
