14But Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872was angryוַיִּקְצֹ֣ףvai.yik.TzofH7107withעַ֖ל'alH5921the officersפְּקוּדֵ֣יpe.ku.DeiH6485of the armyהֶחָ֑יִלhe.Cha.yilH2428—the commandersשָׂרֵ֤יsa.ReiH8269of thousandsהָאֲלָפִים֙ha.'a.la.FimH505and commandersוְשָׂרֵ֣יve.sa.ReiH8269of hundredsהַמֵּא֔וֹתha.me.'otH3967—who were returningהַבָּאִ֖יםha.ba.'ImH935fromמִצְּבָ֥אmi.tze.Va'H6635the battleהַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃ha.mil.cha.MahH4421.

15“Have you sparedהַֽחִיִּיתֶ֖םha.chi.yi.TemH2421allכָּל־kol-H3605the womenנְקֵבָֽה׃ne.ke.VahH5347?”heמֹשֶׁ֑הmo.ShehH4872asked themוַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֖םvai.Yo.mer 'a.lei.HemH559 H413.

16“Lookהֵ֣ןhenH2005,these womenהֵ֜נָּהHe.nahH2007causedהָי֨וּha.YuH1961the sonsלִבְנֵ֤יliv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478,through the counselבִּדְבַ֣רbid.VarH1697of Balaamבִּלְעָ֔םbil.'AmH1109,to turnלִמְסָר־lim.sor-H4560unfaithfullyמַ֥עַלMa.'alH4604against the LORDבַּיהוָ֖הba.Yah.wehH3068atעַל־'al-H5921Peorפְּע֑וֹרpe.'orH6465דְּבַר־de.var-H1697,so that the plagueהַמַּגֵּפָ֖הha.ma.ge.FahH4046struckוַתְּהִ֥יva.te.HiH1961the congregationבַּעֲדַ֥תba.'a.DatH5712of the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

17So nowוְעַתָּ֕הve.'a.TahH6258,killהִרְג֥וּhir.GuH2026allכָל־khol-H3605the boysזָכָ֖ר בַּטָּ֑ףza.Khar ba.TafH2145 H2945,as well asהֲרֹֽגוּ׃ha.Ro.guH2026everyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605womanאִשָּׁ֗ה'i.ShahH802who has had relations withיֹדַ֥עַת אִ֛ישׁ לְמִשְׁכַּ֥בyo.Da.'at 'ish le.mish.KavH3045 H376 H4904a manזָכָ֖רza.KharH2145,
