29This is to beוְהָיְתָ֥הve.ha.ye.TahH1961a permanentעוֹלָ֑םo.LamH5769statuteלְחֻקַּ֣תle.chu.KatH2708for you:On the tenthבֶּֽעָשׂ֨וֹרbe.'a.SorH6218dayבַּחֹ֣דֶשׁba.Cho.deshH2320of the seventhהַ֠שְּׁבִיעִיHa.she.vi.'iH7637monthלַחֹ֜דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320,you shall humbleתְּעַנּ֣וּte.'a.NuH6031אֶת־'et-H853yourselvesנַפְשֹֽׁתֵיכֶ֗םnaf.sho.tei.KhemH5315and not doתַעֲשׂ֔וּta.'a.SuH6213anyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605לֹ֣אlo'H3808workמְלָאכָה֙me.la.KhahH4399—whether the nativeהָֽאֶזְרָ֔חha.'ez.RachH249or the foreignerוְהַגֵּ֖רve.ha.GerH1616who residesהַגָּ֥רha.GarH1481among youבְּתוֹכְכֶֽם׃be.tokh.KhemH8432—
30becauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588on thisהַזֶּ֛הha.ZehH2088dayבַיּ֥וֹםvai.YomH3117atonement will be madeיְכַפֵּ֥רye.kha.PerH3722for youעֲלֵיכֶ֖ם'a.lei.KhemH5921to cleanseלְטַהֵ֣רle.ta.HerH2891youאֶתְכֶ֑ם'et.KhemH853,and you will be cleanתִּטְהָֽרוּ׃tit.Ha.ruH2891from allמִכֹּל֙mi.KolH3605your sinsחַטֹּ֣אתֵיכֶ֔םcha.To.tei.KhemH2403beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068.
32The priestהַכֹּהֵ֜ןha.ko.HenH3548whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834is anointedיִמְשַׁ֣חyim.ShachH4886אֹת֗וֹ'o.ToH853וַאֲשֶׁ֤רva.'a.SherH834and ordainedיְמַלֵּא֙ye.ma.Le'H4390אֶת־'et-H853יָד֔וֹya.DoH3027to succeedלְכַהֵ֖ן תַּ֣חַתle.kha.Hen Ta.chatH3547H8478his father as high priestאָבִ֑יו'a.VivH1shall make atonementוְכִפֶּ֨רve.khi.PerH3722.He will put onוְלָבַ֛שׁve.la.VashH3847אֶת־'et-H853the sacredהַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ha.Ko.deshH6944linenהַבָּ֖דha.BadH906garmentsבִּגְדֵ֥יbig.DeiH899בִּגְדֵ֥יbig.DeiH899
